Ultrafire vs Trustfire.
What is the difference are they the same company?
Are they both the same quality?
Cheers Anthony

***Fire are mostly pulls from USED laptop battery packs that have been branded ***Fire.

if your only running a LED Torch they are okay, but they aren't the best by a thousand miles.

Most Sanyo/Panasonic cells are okay for lower power lasers/flashlights, but if your trying to run a 445nm 2W monster you want AW's IMR cells. the have a lower internal resistance and can give the driver the amps it needs without overheating and burning.

I think i might have to throw mine away. Just got threw charging one and had to stop it since the battery was getting pretty freaking hot... Can you charge just 1 battery at a time? Or must you use both charge ports at the same time. I noticed the Ultrafire batteries I got are rated for 1000mAh, but the charger it came with can only give a max of 600mAh output. WTH:thinking:

I wasnt aware those brands were sucky batteries. Ill have to get some of those Aw's.

If you have to choose only between these two fire brand then Trustfire is better than Ultrafire.
I have both batteries and the Trustfire outperform the other. Of course Sanyo, AW, etc are still better than both fire brand.

I always wondered who was the original "fire" that everybody else knocked off thinking the word connoted "quality"?

You get what you pay for!

That said trust fire has been better for me than other ***fire.

I've got a bunch of fandyfire, ultrafire, trustfire, Superfire, Spiderfire?... they all have different packaging, and none of them are the same (even the same brands have no consistency)

save some money get some good ones. Even DX has the Panasonic and Sanyo cells. Those don't have the protection circuit, but they do sell them that do, or get some AW's

"What tastes better, dog shit or cat shit?"

Oh man, that's good.

Really, that's about it... I'd only go for generic brand (yep, I trust generic li-ions more than derpfire batteries) or name NAME brand batteries like Sanyo, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, etc.
