Kenom/pontiacg5...

What oring dash number fits in the grooves on the head of a Kryton Groove?
I'm going to use blue cordstock and blue orings on my groove.

the grooves take 2mm rubber inserts. The o-rings are 20mm

So where do I find "2mm rubber inserts" anyway?

A google search on the above is not very enlightening.

Never Mind... Look for "2mm rubber cord!"

ALL SORTS OF COLORS! Schweet! And this looks perfect for filling the grooves on a 445nm. http://www.artbeads.com/rf-cob2.html

Kenom,
I was wondering what specific color/colors you have for anodizing in green?

Is your green close to what 532nm looks like, or is it lighter or darker?

OK again.. these are the colors I got
Caswell Inc. - Anodizing Dyes
Green AEN
Violet DS
Deep Red
Fast Blue
Gold S
Black HBL

As with all anodized item, you can change the color by submerging the items in the dyes for longer periods of time. If you want specifically a 532 color, I will try my best to match it.

As an example, the gunmetal grey is done by only submerging the barrel for a very very short period of time.

I do a search on ebay for 2mm rubber. I get all kinds of results. You will want to make sure that the rubber you get is NOT hollow. It does work, but it's not very stiff and has a tendency to come out very easily.

Kenom,
Thanks for letting me know about the anodizing colors. I must have missed where you originally posted what colors of anodizing you had available. I apoligize for not looking harder.

I am just getting so excited for these hosts!!!! All I want to do is figure out every detail about them before I get them so it is like I actually have one...even though I really don't yet...

hahahah completely understandable.. I'm just a little bit pissed off cause I found out where all the extra thermopiles I was going to use for Kenometers went to.

I do apologize for snapping.

No apology necessary.

I didn't even tell that you did snap at me. I am an easy going guy, so all is good.

And btw, are you still pumping out Kenometers and Kenometer Pros for the foreseeable future? (I really want to buy a Kenometer Pro when I have the funds available, but that may be a while...)
