Erm... Hello? Did you see MY post? I could assemble some for you or order the IC's from Farnell Czech Republic - here are the prices - the shipping to me is only 7 USD for UPS (!)

Quanity Price
1 - 9 93.81 CZK
10 - 99 73.40 CZK
100 - 249 59.09 CZK
250 - 499 51.47 CZK
500+ 46.30 CZK
(1 CZK is about 5.2 US cents - a.k.a 1 USD is around 19 CZK)

^^ There's your solution! Even at a QTY of 10 drivers, you're looking at $3.82 USD for the IC. That's starting to bring the price of your driver down dramatically.

Actually, 10 IC's are almost exactly 1000 CZK (52 USD) when you add the VAT and shipping. Still, it's 5.2 USD per IC.

Let me know if you need to order parts from the US, I'd be more than happy to help you out. Mouser will rake you over the coals for shipping :( but it usually only costs me around $8 to get something from them. I'm going to be putting an order in with them probably within about a week or so anyway. First class mail from the US to Bulgaria would only be a couple bucks for a few ICs .

ok now that I will order parts what currents would you like my driver to have preset. for the moment I have the following options:

these are closest to the real value which will vary with small percentage. when assembled and tested will tell you the real value.

~106ma
~128ma
~227ma
~250ma
~454ma
~500ma
~609ma
~720ma
~750ma
~859ma
~892ma
~1000ma
~1110ma
~1140ma
~1200ma
~1400ma
~1500ma
~1600ma
~1750ma
~1950ma
~2100ma[max boost for 445nm]
~2400ma[buck only]

if the value you are interested in is not in the list let me know I will order more resistors.

EDIT: ALL reserved .... none left for now.. expect more soon.

I can ship in the middle or end of next week depends on the day parts arrive! Will let anyone know by PM!

ok parts will be here in the weekend and I should be able to put and test a total of 6 drivers because my budget is very limited and those ICs cost me fortunes >.<

after I sell these I will be able to make some more on request I guess...

2 drivers goes totally free to 2 of you (which I have already chosen - will let you know by PM)

check the manual in the attachment:

your power source must be a good PSU with at least 4A current capability or a 2500/2800/3000mAh Li-Ion battery for testing.

otherwise at currents above 1.4A the driver will begin to pulse if the input power isn't sufficient. This is mainly noticeable in boost mode as the input current should be pretty high but not higher than 3.4A. for a 2A output. when driving 445nm diode.

at lower output voltages input current is way lower. It all depends on your application but for 445nm at high currents you need above 3A input current for full regulation and reasonable run time.

See manual for details:
---------------------------------------------------
if any questions please ask

price is $29 and I use priority shipping with tracking number (~$7).
