Ha you guys are awesome. Is my work really that good? Thanks :beer:!

EDIT:

For anyone who likes DIYing their own drivers, this ^ is an especially awesome heatsink design. Lots of room to arctic silver an IC to the main diode heatsink - and that heatsink is big enough to take a lot of thermal transfer.

Sorry guys. Heatsink pictures have been removed. If anyone has questions about the heatsink design, please contact by PM. Again, I apologize.

Lol, it may take me a week or so after the next beaties arrive, just to figure out how to build my DIY drivers in.... What? About half a square inch ;) ?

I think I can do every wavelength with a tiny 1117, except 445 ::thinking;

The 3 of them are beautiful but the last one of the first photo is just unbelievable its like taken out of a star wars movie... its of another galaxy:bowdown: its just terrific:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

rhd, I am curious about your experience with the 405 and 1085 combo. Is the 1085 still supplying the full current when your batteries go low? I have played quit a bit with the 1085s myself and I would expect with an 405 diode at a high current setting the current might drop when the voltage goes below ~7.5V. Does this match your experience?

I couldn't tell you - to be honest. I never run my batteries low. In fact, I don't think I've ever drained a battery from laser use. It's probably the OCD - forcing me to charge cells constantly. ;)

Here is a 14650 three piece host turned down from 1" diameter stock.

It may be available for purchase. I am undecided ATM. It will be a piece of history, my first completed host that I've decided to post up.

Ray, am I crazy, or do I see a little blemish in that second photo?

Couldn't be - that's not like you! ;p
