While honestly I'm not all that big on WL I must say I do like the design of the Spyder III Host.
I'm always fond of assault crowns on my lights /lasers even tho it serves no real purpose.

Thats another reason i am buying it. If it ever breaks. I will gut the host and make a new laser out of it, or sell it here on the forums.

Yes, if its still under warrenty or i could get it fixed pretty cheap it will stay intact.

I do use my lasers "ALOT"

I am patheticly addicted to them and constently play with them....Taking them everywhere i go.

And with 100% duty cycle it theoretically could take well over a year to eventually die.

Edit: Listen to me, I am weeks away from even getting it and im already talking about breaking it ROFL

I too have a Spyder III BLUE coming for review from WL. It was shipped today and I will only be able to play with it for about a week. Steve did not mention the power so it will be a surprise.
Jeff, I bet your green will be above spec !!! Enjoy and be careful. I will be interested in your review.

Though my spyder was purchased with my own money, Im not lucky enough for a review model.

I am almost positive it will at least be slightly overspec.

I think we are all pretty well addicted to our lil habit. Everyone needs hobbies (those w/o tend get really annoying). How much time /money do many guys spend on cars?

Jeff -- I also got to test a WL Spyder III green 700+ mW AWSOME !!!!!! but that went back too :-(

Yesssssss -- being able to handle them, even for a while, is great.

Did you catch HMike's sweet portable CO2 build btw? Good thing RF excited assemblies are hard to come by else I fear some kids would manage to get one running & go crazy. Oh man, no i did not see that. That would be extremely bad if some kids got a hold of that. Looks very dangerous!
