Wow. It only took 24 to get to my house! Last laser i ordered took about 3 days.

Anyhow i cant review it yet because im at work atm.

The suspense is killing me!

Shipping took about 24 hours, and it was all packed very well.
The spyder was packed in a magnetic box (pic will be here)
Included was a power sheet and an xtra sticker, i also got a pair of those 99$ glasses which i must say are awesome! They are rated OD 7 and there multi wavelength (orange colored not red) They are rubberized. (pic will be here)

It came with 2x batterys, a charger, and a power cord.

The spyder is very solid, heavy and it is pretty long. (haven't measured it yet)

The power sheet says it is stable @ 160mW and peaks at 190mW. (pic will be here)

Now i do have a few problems. The beam is not correctly aligned and it is hitting the apature! (definitely not cool!)
Beam is a little thicker than i expected, I will have to measure it later.
It does not seem to run in TEM00 because there is 3 dots. Looks like this OOO. I am thinking it is caused from it hitting the aparture. (could be the reason for the thick beam?)

Edit: I found out that when it heats up it mode hops and when it does it hits the aparture, on a cold start it runs in perfect TEM00 and is perfectly round.


Overall The spyder is very cool nonetheless, though i wish the divergence was like my executive.


Pros:
Nice and solid!
Nicely balanced
LED not too bright

Cons:
Mode hops.
Very large (though this is not too bad)

Mode hopping?Wow, that is an epic fail.Return it for a new one ASAP.Mode hopping at that price is totally unacceptable.
My 40mw Evo Pro is fantastic, so I am not saying this because I don't like wl.I do.But you need to get a good one.Please let us know how they treat you and how the laser you get works.

i bought the 100mw spyder 3 for 300ish shipped averages about 150 very stable
most of my dpss lasers looked like the beam was coming out crooked very comman cni opto and wicked oh and my techlaser too was crooked
 
Id like to see that thing on an LPM not from wicked. See what the actually send every day customers...
 
I would love to meter it, but its pretty heavy. Shipping would be a little bit more than average. It does however sting my skin near instantly as to where my executive takes about 2-3 seconds. I cant say if the wl data sheet is accurate but it definitely seems spec compared to my other lasers unless all of them are underspec.
 
Spyder III pro arctic series 1W or Spartan Series 1W Blue Handheld Laser, Rectangle Beam ?
This week i'll buy an 1W laser but what I choose??
ps:I'm from Brazil not USA theres no law against lasers here...
 
This is a review for a green spyder 3 pro. The lasers you are talking about are completely different.

If you are asking about the Arctic or Spartan series I'm probally the wrong guy to ask because I don't have any experiences with either of those wavelengths.
