Hello, this is john, the owner of priceangels.

all members who have ever heard of John and priceangels, all friends who have ever ordered from john and priceangels, all mates who have ever give his precious trust to John and priceangels, I'm truly sorry to you all.


I can hardly hold on my disappointment, sadness and shock after I get a Email from one of my customers this morning. The email tells me that two of my lasers sku 73981 and sku 73960 Which claimed to be 200mw turn out to be only 50mw in reality. I can only say sorry to him, and give him a chance to get a full refund.


My purchasers are alway told that 200mw ones are about 150mw, and 100mw ones are about 60mw, but now....... You can't imagine my anger to the factory, and the sorry to my customers, to you all.


I have made my decision to let all my customers know the reality, even if this will cause a great loss to my bussiness, even if this will be hard for me. I have ordered LPM from lasersbee, who proves to be one of the best manufacturers of LPM.


I will test my lasers one by one, and put the accurate data on my website. Even if these datas will be nightmare for me, I will give you all the truth with no hesitate.


To those who have ordered and not receive the items, if you care much about the real output, you can cancel you order, and will get full refund.


To those who have received the items, if you are really much disappoint with them, you can return them, and get full refund, and we will be responsible for the shipping fee.


To those who are planing to order from us, you'd better consider the real output first, it will be much low than claimed. Or you can wait for some days, there will be some honest reviews. You'd better know more before you pay for it. Or you can go to some other company to get one.


Sorry, all my friends. Even since the first day I came here, I has been trying my best to be honest, sincere, reliable and never get a order by cheating, But now, I gave you wrong information. (I don't know whether I am still reliable)

As personal impression, i feel your action is good ..... offering refunds to the sellers, for a mistake (that, basically, is'nt your guilty, if your manufacturer lied to you, and you had no way for check it), before that the customers ask for it, is, imho, a seroius and honest business conduct.

It's isn't your fault that the lasers aren't up to spec, you even have disclaimer on the site (unlike a lot of other sites). At least your being honest with the consumer and trying to resolve the situation.

Once I receive my order I plan on getting them metered so I'll let you know the output and publish a full review.

I am very happy to see you stepping up to the plate and being
more honest than most Asian Laser sellers...
I am also happy to see that you will refund any customers that
received an extremely under-spec Laser...

This just strengthens by willingness to purchase items from you..
Any seller that stands behind his products... will get business from

I'll let my order stand as is John.
IMO, this is the best action you could have taken and will reap many rewards from it.
It it hard to fail when being honest. More resellers could follow your example.
When you get your LPM you can set a special area for "measured lasers".
Now when you receive your Laserbee LPM you can decide which manufacturers provide you the most accurate product, check it and resell with confidence.
People will buy from your site with that commitment.
 
I think your honesty has gotten you more customers. I know I will be one! :bowdown

More companies should take notice and follow your example! :beer:

That is not much more expensive than a 5mW pen for a much nicer host and a good chance of being more than 5mW.

This definitely makes me want to order a slew of things from you that I've been trying to source from a buncha different sites over the past month. I just wish more companies were like this. My only concern is what your affiliation with DX is, as stated in the other thread.

Hi John, Thanks for your honesty in this.
Does this mean that after you receive your meter from laserbee, that forum members will get the output power which is advertised for the specific laser?

To sell a laser which only outputs 100 or 150mw as a 200mw is dishonest no mater what.
I think it would go along way to also explain the exact relationship between DX and PA as it shows on Copyscape Plagiarism Checker - Duplicate Content Detection Software that much of the DX site was copied word for to the PA site excpet that the words "dealextreme" were replaced with "priceangels"

Personally, I've had a couple good transactions with DX in the past few years with no problem, but I do have a problem with plagiarism / theft of the website if you are not related to DX.

Thanks so much for your concern, I have given you an answer in that thread : Priceangels&DX ?

BTW, we'd like to promote our bussiness only by our sincere wish to serve, we'd like to enhance our reputation only by our honest endeavor to help. We have no intereted in get orders depend on the reputation of DX.


I think it is important for customers to know the products and service of a company, but not so important to know the detailed register of stockholders. John is one of the stockholders, an important one.
