Sold! Laserbee2 3.2W $170

Re: $170 Laserbee II 3.2W Price Dropped!

I wont have time to ship it until thursday and I would rather sell it to someone for a good deal instead of investing more money in it and have trouble selling it... if that makes sense

@livinloud I actually don't need to sell it lol but I thought with so many members being ridiculed for their guestimations on laser outputs that I would rather sell it to someone that needs one instead of sitting around. And yes it would make me feel a little better about my recent shopping spree!

Man.... the same guys just keep come out of the woodwork...

yeah, jerry just because your not doing it doesn't mean it can't be done.

Never said it could not be done...

Yup, apply the calib factor you see on boot, and use nested if statements for the step curve adjustment.

The OPA doesn't have the name sanded off so look at the datasheet, solder a wire on the output pin, and the other wire to ground and plug it into the datalogging board.

Whole lot of work just because Jerry didn't add
Code:
[B][COLOR="Orange"]Serial.Println(power);[/COLOR][/B]
in the firmware.

Never said it could not be done...nor that we don't do it.
BTW thanks for that fabulous programming advice....

FYI... I was programming while you were still in diapers...

See Jerry, nothing is impossible.

Never said it is impossible... Don't try to put words in my mouth.
We've been doing firmware data logging for our LaserBee products
a lot longer than most on this thread. Yeah I know you are

Hmm... let me go back and check...

FYI... you can not add an external Data Logging Circuit as you
so boldly suggest to a LaserBee II. There is no calibrated Analog
signal available like on an OPHIR Head or Alpha or LaserBee A
LPM.

Hmmmm...

Yeah I'm not putting words in your mouth but that's pretty much exactly what you said.

Side Note: Just because you have been doing it longer doesn't mean your better then someone else!

just missed out on a laserbee 2W for $80 today :cryyy:

I thought it was a good deal as well....:D

Jerry by looks of it I'll be sending it to weds since no one wants it so far

Edit I meant to say Thursday it's really early and I an out of it lol

OK guys as much as this is killing me to do but $170 shipped + pp fees

That is a killer price for it and I am very surprised it has not been sold well before now.

Thanks me too. Today is the last day guys!!!!!! I am shipping it out tomorrow either to whoever buys it or to jerry. If you want it after jerry does his work on it i will be asking $300 shipped. If you pay for it before jerry is done with it I can possibly have him send it directly to you instead of shipping back to me!

You're welcome for the programming advice, you'll also have to put a couple more lines in to start the serial communication in the set up. You can reference OpenLPM or the ARGMeter firmware if you need an example.

Years of experience in programming does not equal programming skill.

Re: LAST CHANCE! Laserbee2 3.2W $170

I know there is someone out there that wants it.....

Years of experience in programming does not equal programming skill.
I'll take hands on experience over a "mister know it all" attitude
every time when I'm looking for a professional..;)

Inexperience in programming does not equal acquired hands
on programming skills either.:D

You are correct... I didn't explain my statement in minute detail
that the average lay person could understand. I'll try again.:)

My statement was in response to Post #3...
I would hold out on sending to Jerry for data logging because you should be able to us arg's data logging add on at a fraction of the cost.

To be a bit more clear I should have said....

"FYI... you can not simply add the ARGraph data logging without
adding a lot of additional electronic circuitry
and possibly an
additional MCU with additional Firwmare requirements
as you
so boldly suggest to a LaserBee II. There is no calibrated/corrected
Analog signal available like on an OPHIR Head or Alpha or LaserBee A
LPM
that can be directly connected to the ARGrah as a simple
data logging add-on without additional electronic circuitry
and/or firmware that may need to be written to make the
ARGraph useable with this LaserBee II.

I do not claim to be a know it all, everyone has room for improvement, even you and your products do. Sorry if my post gave the feeling of a know it all attitude.

What I was reffering to was the fact that even though you have years of hands on experience other people can create a superior firmware for your products in their spare time.

I guess what I'm getting at is years of experience mean nothing if the skills learned are not applied.

Surprised to see Jerry's responding at all!

:bumpit:

Back on track :) 170$ is a good deal for this meter, it goes to 3.2W! I'm surprised it hasn't sold sooner at 170$. mhemling33 is a great guy to deal with. I recommend this for anyone looking for a cheaper meter!
