Sold! Laserbee2 3.2W $170

Re: Laserbee II 3.2W LPM $180 until 4/3/13

I know someone selling a laserbee 2 3.2w for only 180 ;) I hear he is a pretty good guy so if your interested send a message to him he will try to work something out lol

Re: Laserbee II 3.2W LPM $190 until 4/1/13

I would hold out on sending to Jerry for data logging because you should be able to us arg's data logging add on at a fraction of the cost.

I would think that before offering suggestions you would inform
yourself about what you are suggesting...

FYI... you can not add an external Data Logging Circuit as you
so boldly suggest to a LaserBee II. There is no calibrated Analog
signal available like on an OPHIR Head or Alpha or LaserBee A
LPM.

It's perfectly within the realm of possibility. ;)

Oh jeez :pop:

It is though - you just need to measure the voltage (or, read the data on the I2C bus) coming out of the amp, then apply the calibration scaler your meter displays when it boots, then apply the response adjustment.

It's simple, and perfectly feasible. :)

Re: Laserbee II 3.2W LPM $180 until 4/3/13

yeah, jerry just because your not doing it doesn't mean it can't be done.

Re: Laserbee II 3.2W LPM $180 until 4/3/13

Yup, apply the calib factor you see on boot, and use nested if statements for the step curve adjustment.

The OPA doesn't have the name sanded off so look at the datasheet, solder a wire on the output pin, and the other wire to ground and plug it into the datalogging board.

Whole lot of work just because Jerry didn't add
Code:
Serial.Println(power);
in the firmware.

Re: Laserbee II 3.2W LPM $180 until 4/3/13

thank you guys for the info and the bumps those options i might consider trying if i was keeping it but since I am selling it I figure I will get the best money If I didn't mess with it. I would hate to mess something up and then have nothing to sell :(

by the way its still for sale lol

Re: $170 Laserbee II 3.2W Price Dropped!

OK guys as much as this is killing me to do but $170 shipped + pp fees

Re: $170 Laserbee II 3.2W Price Dropped!

I thought you were going to ship it in to get it tuned up, why don't you do that and then try selling it? You'd probably get more interest. On the other hand, if you want anything else us interested people can try to make a deal with you... GL!

Re: $170 Laserbee II 3.2W Price Dropped!

DARN!!!!! that's a freakin deal! if you dont sell this tonight i would be shocked!!!! come on guys this is a great deal and mhemling is a great guy!

EDIT: hwang if he sends it in to jerry its going to cost him ~$100 and then that means an increase of at least what it cost him + the wait time. mhemling has been involved in a lot of the GBs so im guessing he would like the cash sooner rather than later to help offset what he has bought in GBs. if he didnt want/need the cash soon then the price would never have dropped in the first place b/c his original price was still a very good price.
