Sharp 490nm GH04850B2G 55mW Laser Diode

Jordan,
Does your “50mW 520nm PL520 Green Diode In Copper Module W/Driver & Aixiz Glass” qual as a single item? I am in need of this diode and the nano driver.

Sure will.

Just a few hours left to get 50% off every single item order. Had some steam in the beginning. but kind of slowed a bit in te last few.

Just put up a couple of the 490nm diodes. Workingo n a in module option now..

Wouldn't it be easier to list it for the half price, and then take it down?
I've never sold on amazon before, but this seems easier unless there is some restriction on how fast you can put up/take down items.

I'm not worried about the sales tax and I don't need Amazon to even know anything was refunded either. If you want to do it some way that doesn't show up on their side I can get it anyway that works best for you.

OK I just finished putting in a slew of orders, you will see mine to my APO, AE address. (I think he might have enough now, more than he expected).

Here's the benefit of using a simple lens flare hider, in this case an expedient rolled up length of card stock, easy to push on or pull off, you can even focus with it in place. Obviously the black card stock soaks up the lens flare and limits any overspray to a shallow angle, the longer the hider the shallower the angle although just an inch or two works well.

I set the dia. of the paper tube by rolling it around a blank 12mm module, makes it easy to get a perfect fit, also I set my module so it protrudes 5mm or so, that along with the standard lens thumb wheel makes a good seating.

Yes, it's easy to carry the little tube and slip it on so any bystanders won't get frightened by the lens flare.

The angle from the lens to the end of the tube greatly reduces the cone of lens flare visibility to a much shallower angle.

They really make a difference and can prevent a misunderstanding, it's the polite thing to do and lets you lase without advertising like a beacon. ;) Also in the daylight it's the lens flare that draws any attention at all as far as a bright attention getter because none of us would ever aim a laser at anyone, but the wide dispersion of the intense lens flare can stand out from almost 180 degrees from the face of a naked lens.

This is awesome!! Great concept!!
I’d rep if I could:beer:

I agree, I don't like shooting into the night sky if someone sees me, that flare can be seen a long way out while the beam itself might not be noticed so easily, depending on the power.

For example (just my curiosity), with this diodes at 130mA the beam brightness from how far can it be seen? Let's say if I aim the beam at the sky and someone looks at me, the beam would be visible from what distance? 20m? More?

I have a house in the pyrenees, wouldn't like someone walking by there to think that there's some sort of death star on the forest ;)

Previous summer i had a 80mw 532nm laser and we were 4 people alone pointing it at the night sky,the beam was very visible to all of us but if someone went about 15 meters further he could't see the beam at all,he thought that we making fun of him that the pointer was turned off. I even tried it myself and yea i couldnt see anything, pretty weird physics :)
