Wasn't there some scam going on where people would obtain Kindle Fires for free with stolen serial numbers? How do we know about this one?
 
If he ships from his house, legit.

If he 'has amazon ship you the replacement unit for his warranty, using YOUR details on the amazon warranty application' it's a scam ^^
 
Take a picture of the kindle fire next to a piece of paper stating your username and date.

That is what we are asking for when we say pictures.

Because cameras are built into nearly everything these days, requesting pictures is a simple request. Instead of cussing at everyone because you can't fulfill a simple request, just wait until you're near a camera and post a pic. Shouldn't be long anyway since you no doubt have a cell phone or there's almost guaranteed to be some other type of camera at your place of residence. You can't fault people for wanting to see what they are buying, and by doing so you look suspicious.
