I just want to let everyone know all of this before buying from this company. You may be right I don't know everything but what I am talking is based on want I know.

untill you know the whole story why are you posting threads on things you know nothing about. scifi lasers up till just recently has been a big part of this forum. he has always made good on things. So up untill like the last six months scifi has had a few bobbles here and there but the last six months there has been a steady increase in people complaining about scifi. I know that some of these claims are nothing but an attempt to ruin his reputation. Some have some grounds and some I dont know all the details but if it happens to go the way it should it should be resolved. Now you come on the forum having been here since last month and all of a sudden you have some thing to bitch about! I am sorry but I dont buy it for a second! I think your another troll or returning banned member just bitching about some thing. I really could care less if your not. But before you make a statement like this you better find out all the facts before doing

I am afraid the whole story is clear enough when the email log is posted on the first thread. The thread starter has also concluded everything as the following

“I have been emailing TheJoker301 for over three months now trying to get my laser. He has sent me nothing but excuses are lies about the shipment of my laser. Today he finally refunded my payment and threatened to report me to the United States government for asking him to stick to his claims.”

So up untill like the last six months scifi has had a few bobbles here and there but the last six months there has been a steady increase in people complaining about scifi.

This is how the thing go bad. Sci-Fi Lasers cannot handle that much order so because you guys keep recommend other to buy from them as a result more and more order get delayed. To keep their reputation good TheJoker301 give a fake tracking number to act like they actually ship the order to calm the buyer down. Buyer then find that the tracking is not working TheJoker301 keep sending another fake number to buy the time. Here is other example:

I don’t mind spending time giving more example thread if you want. But this will just make this reply too long. Remember I will update every example to the OP so if I were you trying to help thing out I would suggest you not to ask me to do this.

I know that some of these claims are nothing but an attempt to ruin his reputation.

I have to clarify one thing. It is Sci-Fi Lasers ruin his reputation not other one else. All of the story we know is true so far because TheJoker301 has actually responded. Can you please kindy list some example that is/may not be true I may be missing something?

Some have some grounds and some I dont know all the details but if it happens to go the way it should it should be resolved.

As what I have stated clearly in the OP. A resolved issue doesn’t mean that it doesn’t not existed because customer has actually wasted the time on their laser, which those time is not supposed to be wasted

I know you will attack me this way. First of all I don’t agree that a new member doesn’t have the right to say what they want to say. If what I am saying is not true I will get ignored but let see the reply of #2, #3. This is just your assumption. While you ask me to post before knowing the whole story why are you posting this just because of “you think”? This is a kind of contradiction. So basically I join here one month ago because I know sci-fi will give another fake tracking number and threatening the customer today?

I am so sorry for so many quoting I had been in my debate team for couple years I used to respond point by point. So please if you want to keep discussing with me please respond all my point but don't omitting the key point such as fake tracking number / threatening the customer. Should we recommend a company doing this?

I personally don’t support threatening behavior. Neither you threaten customer on reporting them to their government, nor the buyer ask you to pay $$$ to shut him up. But since it is you to make this offer to the customer. You should keep your promise if you can’t deliver the product on time. There are no reason for you to threaten the buyer on reporting them to their government just because he ask you to do what you’ve promised to him.

That is a very heavy accusation, are you sure?

EDIT: Darn, I have heard this again now, that Joker threatened reporting a customer to their government, I know people sometimes get mad and say terrible things, but if this is true it would be extremely foul, so much so that I fear I will feel inconsolably sick.

but it best not to get involve in this because it between Seller and Customer, as we are just the observer, we won't solve the problems by involving ourselves in this.It will only create Bias among members and put ourselves into the line of fire, the last thing we need is turning the entire forum into a battlefield... by starting this thread you started another fire...there's already 2 thread about this!!

Problem is the shipping issues, nobody wants to wait several months for a laser to actually arrive if that can be sorted out all should be good until then u should buy somewhere else not fun pay for something and wait forever it sux.. i know when i sometimes wait over a month to get something from china / asia its annoying as hell but its small money like 10$ or something only.. a laser u buy and want within reasonable amount of time and several months isnt..

Not quite sure what do you mean by the term “technique”. I am just responding to Vortish with his point that I don’t quite agree with.

The reason I start this thread is not try to resolve the problem between sci-fi and their customer that already happened. But letting people know how sci-fi run their business to avoid the similar issue from happening again. LPF is a very important place for the starter. Any recommendation from a senior member like you and vortish can be decisive. You are right that sometime silence is needed but not always. What sci-fi have done so far ( false statement / fake tracking / threatening customer / huge delay on shippment up to 4 months ) has already cross the bottom line that everyone should accept.

I apologized if I being aggressive on my tone. However I am not quite completely agreed with the word “attack” you used. I am not making a fact that is not true. All the threads are quoted from different member in this forum.

What I consider “attack” is what sci-fi lasers have just done to me. Neg repping me without explaining on everything they have done ( I know it is hard to explain). Anyway this is good thing because this will let people see more of his personality.

Shipping issues is just one of the problem. I will understand if there are short delay on the shipment. Just tell the customer honestly I am sure many people will understand as well. What unacceptable are most delay are up to few months and he keep giving wrong tracking info and wrong statement to their buyer. This is letting people down again and again.
