Another nice looking build, Rich. If it takes a single 16340 and a spacer, couldn't you use an 18650 instead?

Hi Paul
I tries some 18350’s and they were a tad to big. Maybe one of my 650’s will fit . I thought that the Derlin spacer was cool to machine.
Thank you for the reply buddy

Rich:)

GSS, now Rich is stuck with that picture in his head.

That’s straight up mean!

Hi Guys,
Well it is a nice piece at a decent price tag for the WL.
Paul,
I will try a single 18650 in it to see how it fits. i might be able to mod and bore out the battery tube a smidge
@ BM,
My mind is scared for life buddy
@ J P
Thanks pal i try to see what folks enjoy in different builds .

Hi Sta,,
MIA for a while i see good to hear from you neighbor, sent you a PM buddy.

Rich:)

That's got to be some kind of record. Just two and a half hours from put up for sale to sold.

Hi Paul,
Its a nice build ,Oh i took your advise and i threw the host back on the lathe and bore dit out to take a 1X18650 flat top, Thanks.. Im happy it went to an old member he is nearby . Did a great buy with him some time back went smooth.

Rich:)

It should have longer times between charges now. Glad it all worked out well for both you and Sta.

I couldn't help myself BM:can::D but your such a good sport I knew you could take it:beer:
Wow Rich, nice build:) and it sold in seconds:bowdown:
The spacer is great and better than all the ebay ones and the home made ones by far.
Did you notice any shrinking or expanding of the Delrin after it settled after machining?
Not that it would matter much as on something that there's room for it, but iv'e seen plastic's changing up to even .030 in. when cooling. These though were run on a auto screw machines putting out like 1 every 20 seconds and had some type of argol and water mix cooling or even light weight oil bath while machining.

Hi GSS,
Derlin is pretty stable when i machined it , I can also make contact boards to many tube sizes. And the copper rivets i use are awesome to solder the wire to for the POS+ end.
I changed the battery configuration from the single 16340 with a spacer to 1X18650 by boring out the battery tube a bit to fit the cell nicely.

Rich:)

Nice build, Rich!! I hope DTR gets flex drives soon
:(. I’d like you to build me a slim, single 10440 sort of pen to rock one of these GGW Red diodes to 410mA as per Flaminpyro.
