^All diodes are claimed from this round. If someone backs out I'll let you know ranged, otherwise Round 4 will begin as soon as this projector has been ordered.

Just sent you the paypal for one diode! Thanks for doing these GB's elektro, cant wait to get this in, im thinkin of a chrome pocket mini build with a 405nm G1.

@jayrob, you should consider making a 445nm G1 for these babys:D
@everyone else: hurry up and pay so we can get these bad boys in!

Well for sure there will be a lot of testing in the coming days...

I'll be comparing the 405-G-1 against the stock projector lens, as well as the AixiZ 405 glass lens for the first three comparisons...

Will you be making housings for these lenses? I'd need one asap :p

Re: ROUND 3 SOLD!! - CHEAP 445nm (true blue) 5.6mm diode group buy.

I'm hoping for the best like everyone else is... :)

And yes of course I will be offering the mount once we figure out what's best!

We may just find that the stock projector lens will be what we want. I'm sure I can mount it into an AixiZ brass nut just like my other lens assemblies.

But lets first see what lens will be best for these diodes. Maybe the AixiZ 405 glass will be more desirable... Because it may 'clip' the sides and give a cleaner dot and beam??

Lot's of people will be reporting in the coming days I'm sure...

But here's a beam shot using my 405-G-1:

So that doesn't look too bad! :cool:

This was from SpyderFire, and he told me that it was the 445 projector diode at 550mA's...

* AixiZ acrylic: 475mW's
* 405-G-1: 600mW's

That's a 26% increase in power vs AixiZ acrylic...
