445 diode in a handheld :evil:
Even with pore divergence or if its just 100mW still be worth every dollar! (imo)

Don't worry, it's not like it's going to run out! I imagine shops like hightechdealz or modwerx will pick up on and start selling these too soon.

I agre with villalaser. Even if the divergence sucks, $50 for at least 100 mw of blue is a STEAL!!

If it comes with the lenses in the projector/those photos I'll take one. Hell, I might make modules to house them to sell too!

AKA I'm in if it has optics included like I read in the other thread.

Edit: These things come with a lens, right Pat? Will they come with some sort of module also? (Doubt that)

That's the main thing needed for these...

Lens mounting and testing for the best lens set up.

I'll be mounting the stock lens into an AixiZ brass nut to try it out (as many others will be doing as well I'm sure), and then we will see what everybody comes up with...

Added you to the list mfo, and yes each diode will come with the lens it was paired with in the projector.
