Review on Eagle 190nm-540nm OD4 Laser Safety Goggles From Survival Lasers.!

^^ I agree, it cost $60 for his eagle pair. But clearly he said he purchased some cheaper glasses then eagles, just wondering which those were?

@Sparkles
Oh well. Goggles for blocking 532 light can be found in 'the cheapest' for $15. For 405 + 445 for $15 too so, 15+15+quality = 42 :D (plus shipping)
Just speculation boy. lazerist said they are good, he is pretty reputable, I'll get some for me. They are cheap, but not enough 'reputation' as OEM ones, etc (sorry for that Garoq). I'll be getting one because they are cool anyways, and this will help SurvivalLaser, that seems to be the only company that sells quality things etc...

I'm in no way affiliated to them. lol

O-like is also selling Eagle Pair 190-450 & 800-2000 nm OD4+ CE laser safety goggles.
Their price is $6 higher: It costs $45.99 & the flat rate shipping fee is $8.
Mine came in a black hard case with microfiber cloth.
405nm,445nm,808nm,1064nm safety goggles/200-450,800-2000nm [OLLS1064] - $45.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

In my thread you can find some extra shots about the O-like glasses:

I have not seen 1 review for those, Plus they coast more. Its a simple as that.:)

Plus you have to wait 2 weeks or so to get them, you will have the Eagle Pair from Survival Laser in 3-4 days shipped to US. Not sure outside US.

O like other goggles have had mixed reviews. So not sure. Hope you have a LPM. To test for sure how they hold up.

Ill stick with these as i like this style better and those goggles seem to make everything your viewing dark. Not good when you want to see what you are doing.

But if thats what you like cool.:cool:

Well there Both Eagle goggles.:beer:

@lazeerer
well well, he spent $800 on a single buy, he'll surely get an LPM if he don't have one already :D

Commonly, shipping from china takes 25 days (BEST cases, happened one) 35 days (commonly), 45 days (VERY COMMONLY) to 60 days (...happens) to Brazil, whereas shipping from USA takes at most 20 days. All by the 'cheapest method'.

@SteveIsNowHere
Not the same goggles, so different prices... I think. ;)

Yeah, you are right! :thanks:
I should have paid closer attention.

The OP posted a goggle from Eagle Pair the 190nm-540nm OD4 and O-like sells the Eagle Pair 190-450 & 800-2000 nm OD4+ CE laser safety goggles.

The Eagle Pair the 190nm-540nm OD4 is good for the 532 nm green lasers and the 445 nm blue lasers...and whatever else fits in the nm range...

The Eagle Pair 190-450 & 800-2000 nm OD4+ CE laser safety goggles -sold by O-like- is good for the 445 nm blue laser and whatever else fits in the nm range...

Because my O-like Eagle Pair 190-450 & 800-2000 nm OD4+ CE laser safety goggles are not good for 532 nm green lasers...I had to buy separately a new one just for the green...
A user mentioned the name "ORBTRONIC" and I decided to buy the 190-540 nm goggle from them 2 weeks ago for $28. (Now it costs $32.)
I'm not sure about its OD tough.
Blue Green Laser Eye Protection Safety Glasses Goggles Red

I wanted to get a Radiant Alpha LPM too, however it is out of stock for a long time.

I might have to save a bit more money for a LaserBee:
http://www.bauer-electron.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6&Itemid=102

At the moment I'm running dry with dough therefore I put on hold the LPM fo a while. Anyway, first I have to fix the 450 mW O-like green laser torch because the spring at the negative terminal broke off... :(

The laserbee is a very good tool, but the cheaper one only measure up to 1.05W of power, as I heard. The radiant alpha goes up to 2W, but it don't have the data logging functions ;)

Nice review. Good job!
It's the same glasses jetlasers provided free of charge for the GBs and you can check the review written by DJNJ. It's purchased in high volume here, like 300-500pairs and the cost can be as low as around $20-22 and if anyone wanna save the $$$ and get this glasses of 190-540nm, just let me know. I will see if i can help. :). Surely the listed items at http://www.jetlasers.org/laser-safety-goggles.html priced at 35$ is not that cost-effective enough.

Surely it might not deserve the shipping from China. :D

The Survival Laser price of $42 plus $6 Priority Mail shipping in the US is a lower total cost. Plus, customers will have them in 2-3 days.

^ I Just had those. They make everything to dark and you can just barley see what your pointing at. Forget about it on black surfaces.

I Dint like them for that very reason.

For safety goggles you need to find a balance of protection and see what your doing. Those had protection but no visibility. IMO

Can it be used for the 808nm infrared laser such as this--->

808nm 220mW laser torch /adjustable/burning [OL808-200] - $39.00 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products

The reason why I ask is because on the web site of lightobject.com 2 different nm range are mentioned:
200~540nm and 900~2000nm
and
200~540nm, 800~2000nm

UPDATE:
I have just received today the Multi Wavelength Laser Goggles from lightobject.com and these are made by Eagle Pair and certified (CE). The following wavelengths are covered with these goggles: 190-540nm & 800-2000nm. So it means that these goggles are good for 808nm infrared lasers.

I have tried it on. In a well lit room it was pretty comfortable. It was not that dark at all and I could see definitely the laser dot and everything else I was doing. (I tried it with an O-like Real 1W 445nm Blue Laser torch.)

Awesome review!

I was wondering if OD4 would be enough for 1W+ of 445nm and nearly purchased the OEMLaser OD7 ones for twice the price. After seeing your video I was sold. Garoq owe's you thanks. I just ordered a pair!

*Sorry about the thread necromancy, but perhaps this thread should be revived from time to time, everyone new sees people recommending the Eagle Pair goggles, but seeing them proove their mettle isn't so easy to find.*
