Now, I know many of you have been looking for them, seeing as AixiZ and O-Like only carry the half-threaded versions.

I was going through the Rayfoss site today, and found these:

2pcs 405nm/445nm Collimation Optical Lens

www.rayfoss.com

It's a three-element lens, like the AixZ glass for 405/445.

They offer a discount in shipping??

2 pcs for 10$ + 3$ shipping.. Order 10 sets and the
shipping is 30$?

Shipping: $ 30
Total price: $ 130

Thought it was a good price until I saw the shipping :undecided:

Well Aixiz does sell the full-threaded variety now too, but not for $6.50 a lens. I wonder how the AR quality is too, because O-like's is pretty good.

just email them your order and they will send you an invoice with discounted shipping.

AixiZ(Houston Tx) DOES have them and a new batch of half-thread 405 glass-

shipping takes only a few days to Con US and a no-questions-asked gaurantee. Some have gotten a discount when getting them straight from AixiZ.com ( dont use FeeBay)- if they mention that they are LPF members. Discount for combined shippping(IE other glass lenses or blank AixiZ modules etc) can also be gotten iirc. but if all you want is just one lens or module then go to rayfoss or o-like.

^^^^^^Plus you can have the satisfaction(for those in the US) of buying from a US company. Faster shipping, better customer service, no BS.
Not to down on Rayfoss, but you can CALL Aixiz and talk to a nice person if you have troubles with your order.
I have always felt that paying just a little extra for customer service is worth it.
my .02

Rayfoss has awesome customer service.

added note--AixiZ owns the name AixiZ- its a registered trade mark- if you get something that another seller says its 'AixiZ' and it turns out to be a 'second' or something that did not pass QC- dont blame AixiZ. This may explain why some of the blank modules coming from China are somewhat 'irregular'..... factory rejects maybe???

BTW I am not trying to pass of my opinions as a totally impartial person. I have met the folks at AixiZ -
I like them-
I have been treated very well and give them my support for a good reason--they deserve it. I purchased items from them for 5 years before ever having the privledge of buying direct. I save on shipping and get the same wholesale pricing as any others buying in bulk.

Texas Len.

ps if you are wanting only a single lens or module from me- dont expect to get the royal treatment -
AixIZ has sold in excess of 100,000+ modules afaik........ but not one at a time.

I re-sell thier lenses and modules and TBH I cant get too worked up over a tiny order-- Buy a diode from me and I am happy to sell you a module and a lens but lets do it in one order... plz.

These lenses are going to be the same as the Aixiz full threaded lenses. They have the same manufacturer.

I personally prefer the half-threaded version still available at O-like and Aixiz. The lenses do not wobble or come loose and the power seems to be marginally better.
The design of the optics is slightly different, too.

Aren't they available at o-like for the same price, and including a o-like module? I've read that they are the same thing..

I've got my lens's from Rayfoss and put one in my 405nm build. I can notice a difference for the better and seems to burn slightly better too can't test the output properly though as I don't have an LPM

Just FYI, I carry these lenses as well for US people who don't want to wait weeks to get them from china. Slightly more expensive but speed always comes at a price. :D

I'll have more information on what wavelengths these things are truly coated for once aryntha ships the spectrometer to me.
