Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!
Hey guys.
Without going into too much detail, pseudonomen137, my argument simply boils down to the age-old issue of merchant Vs buyer and customer satisfaction.
To me, all that matters is that customers receive exactly what they expect, and given the variability in understanding, knowledge and desires from one customer to the next, the challenge falls on the merchant to take responsibility for managing expectations to ensure that everything is clear from the outset. This is why I don't agree with your assumption that I'd advocate cutting the situation clean and telling the buyer where to go, in this case.
I'm a tough customer, at least in the eyes of anyone wishing to sell me something, but think this is a good thing and that the world would be a better, if noisier, place if everyone did the same. There's no good reason why people shouldn't express their dissatisfaction without fear of negative response.
Saying that, fair play to you for seeking to settle this. I love a good case of a growing business and hope that we'll have another player to consider in the same light as the Laserglows, Optotronics, and Novalasers of the world
Anyway, here's to an amicable outcome for everyone directly concerned
