Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

I bet you would call cops. Some might say immature asshole. But I think it would be more accurate to call me a redneck. You are right about one thing:I would beat the crap out of YOU for lookin funny... but I don't drink or go to bars so wherever I am is fine. I've dealt with some of the other forum members and there is ALWAYS some delay or hangup.Anybody who thinks I got too impatient feel free to speak up. drjohn, I REALLY want to say I'm sorry...but I ain't.Carter is a good guy-you are a crybaby. The End.PM me if you need my address, girly-man.

lol @ tatman the internet tough guy threatening to beat me up.

This is what the douche bag PM'ed me.

You are a cunt. Why doncha bring your stupid ass to Oakland and call me a nut licker to my face , bitch?

I have more important things to do than fighting someone old enough to be my dad. If your 52 yr-old ass ever tried fighting me, I would wreck you. Go watch UFC 84 and the Wanderlei Silva vs Keith Jardine fight. This is exactly what would happen to you. LOL

Don't forget you started all this shit. What you said in the beginning of this thread is akin to saying Nicole Simpson deserved what she got because she probably pissed off OJ.

Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

YOU are Wanderlei Silva? Well I am sure sorry if I hurt Your feelings!

Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

WOW ! For once I am not in the middle of a controversy ;D NICE ! Time to rectify that, I think :D

Here's MY outside point of view - not that anyone asked for it, but (here it comes) skip over this post if you don't like it, period.

Dr. Johnny - you spammed the forum in an attempt to communicate with Pseudo - flat out, 100% certain. do I blame you personally for doing this ? Not really. It's annoying that there are so many threads with the same title, but nothing more than that...I can simply delete the notifications from my inbox if I don't want to read them - pretty easy, that.

Tatman - I KNOW you - your "type", your character, and have had the privilege of dealing with you a few times, and honor, and admire you. You are defending the character of someone you know - of someone you have dealt with many times, and are comfortable with that. KUDOS ! No issue with you - your mannerisms, your language, or you personally :) PERHAPS the distance challenge could have been phrased differently, but does it really matter in the long run ? Nope. Anyone foolish enough to travel for an ass beating kinda deserves that beating, IMO. ;)

DarkHorse - I have NOTHING but praise for you, and your product line, and even mostly, your attitude of protection of this forum from spammers ! You have valid arguments - and stick to your guns....good enough for me :)

PSEUDO - get off your lazy ass, and either refund the Doc's money - or send him what was agreed upon, period ! No more lapses in communications, no further delays, no excuses, just freaking do it for God's sake. The ONLY person who is getting hurt in all of this is YOU - your rep is great, for providing quality products, and for "over-delivering" on what was purchased - but then again, YOU of all people know how fragile, and tentative all DPSS lasers are - and the simple fact that Dr. Johnny told you those things about the lasers you sent him SHOULD have been enough. Really. You MUST be able to scrape up SOME respect for others of this community that are attempting to do business with you - and actually give some of them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their intelligence when dealing with lasers. You have driven home the point of education regarding this marvelous hobby multiple times, and it is time you realize that SOME people have listened to you - and have educated themselves. In short, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. And hte long of it is this : If you dislike dealing with someone who does not agree with your products, then DON'T DO IT ! Simply refund the money, fire the customer, and go on your happy way.

To all : That's pretty much it, as far as I am concerned - but know this : Dr Johnny DOES have a legit complaint regarding Pseudo dropping off the face of the earth - Tatman has a point in dealing with Dr. Johnny's overly sensitive nature of his righteousness, Darkhorse has a valid point regarding the spamming of the forums, and I have a point that it is none of my damned business one way or the other :D

Let's get back to lasering, shall we ? If Pseudo does not produce soon - by the very nature of hte beast, regardless of his clever comments, and excellent prices on items we all WANT - he will be simply out of luck as far as finding a customer on this forum goes. nobody will shop with him, knowing that they have the potential for being completely ignored, and none of their legitimate issues addressed.

Sk8'er is simply choosing another contradictory side in an attempt to win favor. He flip-flops worse than anyone else in this entire forum, and I would rather have Laserterd over for dinner than deal with his sorry backstabbing ass ANYTIME. Pretty much ANYTHING he says cannot legitimately be seen as support - simply because of the fact that he has his own agenda, and basically does not matter in ANY matter. He simply sidles up to whomever he thinks he can con into supporting him over something else - all politics with him, period.

Oh, one last thing, to ALL : Immature ? I just LOVE that comment in ANY argument ! It's a freaking hoot, as far as I am concerned ! Maturity has NOTHING to do with age, simply has to do with attitude, and how it is perceived by the one labeling others as immature. It is a pointless waste of time to level that at anyone in an argument - as it firmly places YOU in the hot seat of immaturity yourself. Think about it.
{Besides that....are ANY of us mature ? WE PLAY WITH FREAKING TOYS, DAMNIT ! GAH !!!}
My stretch armstrong can whoop your luke skywalker's ass in a heartbeat anyways.... lalalalalala

See what I mean ? {Prolly not}

/Piece ::)

Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

Thanks for the advice Greg.

You guys are all taking this way too far though. Johnny, you said you'd give me a week to fix things. I thank you for that, but I expect you to make good on that too. That week is not over, and I still insist you will be taken care of by the end of it.

Until then, this is getting way out of hand and I apologize to all for letting such a mess get created in the first place.

Anyway though, to each and every one of you (johnny and tatman especially) I personally ask that you calm down and put this out of your head till my week is over. drjohnny, if you don't get my package by then, you can come back and insist I scammed you. Then you can go call the cops, hire a lawyer, whatever. You have my word this will be resolved in your favor by the end of that week, so lets stop polluting the forums for now. Thank you

Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

bbshamsa, I completely understand and agree with what you said, but I feel it doesn't apply here. Allow me to explain:

The terms of the order were for me to ship an X series equivalent unit, thus averaging 170mW over a period of 30 seconds. Admittedly, although the first unit I shipped tested in spec on my end, it somehow was out of spec on his. This being entirely my fault I shipped another in-spec unit. In fact, both units tested met this spec on my end over 60 second (not just 30 second) averages.

At this point, the customer suddenly starts making extra demands. They want to be able to run the laser 30 sec on, 30 sec off several times and still hold 170mW after those cycles. This was never part of the deal - had he asked me beforehand when I had more units in stock I may have been able to supply - but this is a demand made after payment, after the fact, and in addition to the terms of the transaction.

According to your school of though bbshamsa, I would have been fully justified at this point to tell drjohnny to screw off and leave it at that. I made a sale and I delivered (at most, I owed him the cost of shipping the RMA back). I, however decided I'd to try to accomdate a higher level of service, so I continued to work on the deal. As I have already said in the other post (sorry, I didn't realize there were two until now or I would've copied it to both), since then I have made some serious errors and I take full responsibility for it. In the other post, I already told people not to defend me, and admitted I deserved the criticism.

So that's where it stands. I by no means am free of blame, in fact most of the blame lies on me. I would still like to clarify the situation though and make sure its understood that as slow and irresponsible as I have been, I have never once tried to scam anyone here in the slightest and I am still committed to that policy.

drjohnny has given me 1 week to make good on my word, and I believe that week ends this upcoming wednesday (though my memory may be wrong). Those are the terms of the deal now, and if I don't meet them, then feel free to wail on me all you like - I'd deserve it.

LMAO!

A reality check here for all those who seem to tolerate, and even defend such behaviour from ppl like this "pseudonomen137" character.

- You make a deal
- You meet the deal, PRECISELY!
- End of story

If anything deviates from what was promised, YES a full, clear and proactive explanation followed by a prompt resolution is absolutely expected!!

Nothing else matters.

You take someone's money under clear understanding of delivering a product and service and you HAVE to deliver, or return everything you took with a sincere apology for wasting that person's time.

Just ignoring your customer for any reason, is utterly unacceptable. Unless of course that person was physically unable to due to alien abduction, death or loss of limbs/sense etc... And even then, I'd still expect an explanation... Immediately!!!

I'd like to see how people like this guy would behave if they didn't have the protection of geographical distance and the web to hide behind.

I applaud your efforts "drjohnny".

If he knew that the reliability of his products was so variable, did he make that clear to the buyer before he took the money?

Do you think that if the buyer knew that the product would perform as it did, then he would have gone ahead with the deal?

Do you think that if the buyer knew that this was what to expect if things didn't go as promised, he'd have placed an order?

No is the answer to that!

Therefore, scammed... Therefore "pseudonomen137" deserves a LOT more than what "drjohnny" has quite reservedly, and totally justifiably done so far.

I'd have done a lot lot more than simply "insult" him if I was in that situation.

My recommendation is not to buy from anyone who can't be held accountable to the higher authorities and agencies, and if not, then make sure you know where they live  ;)

Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

(triple post)

Oh and sorry if it seemed like I was ignoring him Greg. I was trying to address the issue in one of the other identical posts he made and only now realized there were a couple others floating around too. You know I value your opinion very highly and I'm sorry things have come to thing

Now can y'all leave me be for a little bit while I do the work I need to to send him his laser?  ;)

Sorry, but don't lie about the first unit you shipped me. You admitted it was underpowered in an email...

Got the laser today. Very sorry, I tested it and it indeed is performing in the 125-135mW range somehow. I'll ship it off for warranty repair right away.

And the second unit you shipped me was only "in spec" at lower temperatures. At 80 degrees with no prior use that day, it lost half its power before 30 seconds was up.

Thats kinda just how it goes with these lasers. My 375 is only 'in - spec' when its warm. When it's cold it will only creep up to about 350mW. But when the body is nice and warm, maybe 80 or 90 degrees, it will do 500mW. It's just the the nature of the beast I guess, but I'm glad to see that you and pseudo are working things out.

I'm sorry but why are you accusing me of lying?

I already said, I tested the unit as being in spec on my end. However when it got to you it somehow wasn't. Dunno why, but with DPSS things like that happen. You shipped it back, I verified it to be underspec, and I sent out a new one. I never lied or tried to scam you - I never tried to ship you an underspec laser.

The second laser I sent you was in spec on my end. You say it metered underspec on yours, but when you sent it back to me I again measured it in-spec, so if anything its I who should be calling you a liar. Now keep in mind I'm not, not at all. In fact, I don't believe there's anything wrong with your meter or anything you said. Its just with DPSS, weird crap like this happens. As I often say, when something strange isn't happening with DPSS, that's the true anomaly. I hope you can understand the frustration on my end though when I'm supposed to fix a problem, but I'm faced with an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" situation. Its a conundrum for both of us - no doubt about it and I can appreciate that you have to put up with that. I hope you can appreciate it on my end too though and not say I'm lying about my power tests. I find very few who rival my commitment to accurate power measurement, so I take it as a very high insult you'd make such an accusation.

As for the second unit, I'm sorry you weren't happy with the temperature performance - its pretty standard to measure these lasers around room temp conditions (70-74 F) and in fact I normally err on the upper end of that range. Poor performance at even mildly warmer temperatures is actually not just a common occurence, but practically a fact of portable DPSS lasers. Nonetheless, I understand your concern and that's why I set out to try to find you a replacement at all. And at that point that's where things broke down and I must shoulder all the blame.

I try to understand your side of this situation, and that's why I'm very sorry for the horribly long delay and plan to act according to make things up to you. No obligation of course, but it'd sure be nice and if you'd extend the same courtesy to me however. I'm far from one to rip anyone off simply because they try my patience on a laser forum, but you sure ain't helping your situation at this point. I've been horrendously irresponsible here, and I plan to rectify the situation accordingly (this isn't the first time I've been this irresponsible, but I always try to go above and beyond to fix the messes I cause). I'd really appreciate it if you could at least refrain from continually attacking me while I try to work things out for you. If you can see where I'm coming from, thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. Otherwise, I again apologize for how horribly I botched this deal, but expect no further courtesy from me past getting your end of the deal fulfilled.

Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

My bad, I misunderstood your post and thought you were accusing me of lying about the first laser.

Re: pseudonomen137 scammed me out of $425!

Pseudo - I know there are at least (I think) a half-dozen of these threads now, and I know you answered up in at least one of them ;)

Seriously, guys... (to all involved, either personally, or at the sidelines) It seems like the situation has been diffused, and knowing Pseudo as well as I do - I HIGHLY doubt he will go back on his word voluntarily. That is simply my humble opinion - take it or leave it :P I think everyone should exhale nicely, kick their collective shoes off, and RELAX. Let's wait and see what happens !

dr. Johnny - IF you are satisfied with the exposure of these threads, and with Pseudo's answers.... something perhaps along the lines of a PM or an Email to c0ldshadow would be pretty cool, I think ! Simply email him, list the thread numbers you want to go away, leave THIS one intact (if you wish !) and it'll do wonders for cleaning up the mess that has been created, I think. Waddaya say ?

Carter,

Quick question? How does it feel to be put on the receiving end of what you used to put WL through when you squated LC trying to make profit from that forum?
