Depending on how often and how much you smoke will stay in your system for 30 to 60 days. Start by taking Golden Seal and the night before use a system flush. Jail sucks!

half life of thc is 10-15 days. 15x2=30 days. factors like extra body weight increase the time it takes but NEVER takes 60 days... when i did smoke i took it upon myself to educate myself on what i was doing and how it reacts.

I have a friend that works at a testing lab (ARUP) and the University of Utah, he said it depends on the person, their metabolism rate and their body fat. The average person is 10-30 days, but they have seen it as long as 60 days in heavy users that are fat. Just going by what I was told by him and a person that was in charge of drug testing at a goldmine that I used to work at.
It is always better to be safe than sorry. I learned the hard way and have done jail time and probation and I don't ever want to go back.:scared:

Or you could obey the law and stop smoking weed. It doesn't matter if your against the law, it's just that...a law.
The fact that you keep breaking the law is what got you into this position in the first place.

Screw unjust/corrupt laws. They're made to be broken. Give me one legit reason why weed is illegal to begin with and I'll consider it a legitimate 'law'. Without law breakers we'd have a whole lot less freedom than we have now. We'd still have alcohol prohibition if not for everyone breaking that law and the mass organized crime that ensued.

With that said I do think it's a good idea to lay off the weed if you're already in trouble with the law or have a possible drug test coming up. It's not like a crack/heroin addiction and you should be able to just give it up for a while.

Without law breakers we'd have a whole lot less violence, rape, and murder.
It's a legitimate law because we as a democracy decided so. It doesn't matter if it's a stupid law, the fact that it IS a law should be enough to follow it. If you don't like it then send your state government a letter instead of blatantly breaking it. You could also run for office and try to change the law yourself.
If people don't follow the rules then the world becomes chaos.

take a look at the crime rate in amsterdam and other places where its legal. crime is minimal and you dont see people trying other drugs after using pot.. its not a "gateway" drug. the history of pot being illegal comes from the early 1900's when hemp threatened the paper industry. it would have replaced trees as a primary source of materials if it hadnt been for big paper companies boycotting hemp.

I'm not saying it's a gateway drug or that it contributes to violence. I'm saying it's a law and laws must be obeyed on principle alone.
Plus this guy knew he would get drug tested, he was being stupid and irresponsible when he decided to smoke it.

so you always do what your supposed to? do you always drive the speed limit? speed laws are still laws.. same principle.

I see your point but by the way. Didn't you read one of my posts. I smoked the day they called me and said id get probation. I smoked before they called me. I'm not stupid enough to do it when I know I would be getting tested.

I had thought about that.....
I guess it depends on your probation officer then. Maybe if they are understanding they'll give you a week or two and then test you....

damnit drew......you got me.

Violence, rape and murder are all acts that harm another human being. Deciding to use mind altering substances(assuming that they don't cause you to become violent or do harmful things like heroin/meth/crack etc) hurts nobody. Who is the government to tell you whether or not you can smoke a plant that grows from the ground?

As far as changing the laws is concerned the government doesn't care much. They care more about their corporate buddies and pleasing the right people. The cotton/pharma/paper/chemical industries are all terrified of legal hemp/mj and they do everything in their power to buy off those in power. The whole reason it was made illegal to begin with was because some guy in charge of the federal narcotics bureau had ties to the paper industry and they started a big fear and propaganda campaign to terrify the public. Here's some of the reasoning behind the illegality of pot.
Harry J. Anslinger:
Reefer makes darkies think they're as good as white men.

Harry J. Anslinger:
Marijuana is an addictive drug which produces in its users insanity, criminality, and death.

Harry J. Anslinger:
You smoke a joint and you're likely to kill your brother.

Richard Nixon:
That’s a funny thing, every one of the bastards that are out for legalizing marijuana is Jewish

-Sorry for the big rant, but this has always been an annoying issue for me. Our country has so many important problems that could use the energy and resources that are wasted on this pointless prohibition and that's not even mentioning all of the legitimate uses for the product in question.
