Yikes is right! We have ticks here, in the northeastern part of the country, that cause some very nasty diseases. Regardless, I have never liked finding a tick on myself after spending time in the woods.

That was the very first host I ever used for a laser pointer build. It was a 445nm M140 set to output ~1700 mW. That was sometime ago now. Thanks for the memories.

Yeah, sat dishes weren't my favorite thing to work on back when they first became available to the masses. Right up there with antenna installations.

Small paradise like river with sandy beach..

Now that takes me back. I haven't done a radio transmitter installation in a vehicle since the mid 1970s. Did many in the summer too. No fun at all.
