Post your random pics!

Holy smokes, I should proofread more. Thanks! It's really a sight to behold, I wish I were even farther up north like diachi, where northern lights would be almost every night, if it didn't stay so bright in the summers.

You're both welcome to visit. Just bring plenty of lasers. :p

And yes, visible most nights during the winter - not always great, but sometimes you get a spectacular show. Summer just now, so no lights for a while. :(

Also, nice pictures! Hard to take a decent picture of the lights, those turned out well! :)

Thank you! Astoundingly well considering I'm nowhere near the boonies, I'm about as close to the middle of all the streetlights and industrial lights as you can get but those lights were still really something.
I've actually always wanted to visit far up north for a while, see some real bright northern lights, the extra long nights and days, even the real low temperatures. I never got that last winter!

Loving these SANWU 3X expanders.
I was just enjoying the hell out of a SANWU 3X expander and had to post a pic, these are great fun, a very worth while addition to your laser.

If you do get some shots next winter, please share. The closest I get to aurora borealis is red/green airglow or if we have a solar flare causing them to be visible further south. Every time that has happened so far it has been cloudy :(

Here's few pics of Aurora Borealis last spring, they are quite common in here

You are so lucky. Enjoy the phenomena. You are a select few that get to regularly view this. Very nice photos. :)

Thank you Arctic Dude. Hurry up sun and give out another huge solar discharge. I just want to see it for myself whilst the skies are finally clear.:D

Not sure if I posted any of these already - probably have posted some of them.

These two are entirely too large to embed and need to be viewed at full resolution to really enjoy them:

Sunset - Yellowknife, Canada - Imgur (5312x2988)

One from this weekend below, surprised it turned out so well. I was lying down for a little while, a little too intoxicated...

One of my hobbies apart from lasers:

I'm trying to transform this rpi into a vintage MS-DOS/windows machine, with some slight physical modifications, and it's going great. I've successfully run a custom modified ms-dos version on it with a program I found on the internet, and using it's emulation I'll be trying to get windows 95 on it. If I can succeed, then next person I hear say "You can't run windows on a pi" will stand corrected

thunderstorm, last night. flashes were so frequent that i was able to catch this with burst mode .. on my phone.
