I'm sure some of you have seen a couple of these photo's of mine. I'm not much of a photographer and don't have a great camera, but some of these came out okay.

Yea, I love my birds :)

I have 2 actually though the grey one is the attention seeker :D

DSCF4012.jpg

The yellow one we found on the side of the street over a year ago, and we're pretty sure it had a broken wing. It still can't fly 100%, but it can save itself from drops, so it's OK.

@Moh, that's an interesting concept there, I like it :)

I've had about 7 birds, 6 were rainbow lorikeets and the other "1" was an indian ring-necked parrot. I loved that parrot! It even said my name :D

Yeah, I've had many birds in the past, but 2 at the same time is my limit :D

I've had an Indian ring neck too, it was a cool bird, except I bought it already fairly matured, so it wasn't as tamed as I would have liked.

The 2 cockatiels I have at the moment (The grey and yellow one), the grey one is extremely tame (As we bought it just before it started eating seed), the yellow one isn't quite as tamed and doesn't like you picking it up by putting your hand over it, but it'll sit on your shoulder all day if you let it.

About a year ago, the grey one actually escaped out the back door. But, the birds had a noise they made to contact each other, like "Where are you??" screech. Luckily when the grey one escaped, the yellow one would call out for it, and we could track the grey one down to the tree it was hiding in. We didn't find it the first day, so it stayed there overnight (During a thunderstorm as well), went back the next morning and it ws still there.

Took the yellow one along in a smaller cage so they could see each other, and with a lot of encouragement, the grey one finally flew back down to us :)

EDIT: Eeeek, 5000 posts!

Hehe Gratz +1 :)

I don't any birds atm but I have 3 cats, well, more like my sister (Don't even ask mfo :p) has 3 cats. One of them has patches all over it, another is snow white with a stripy tail and the last one is a mix between charcoal and grey.

I'l get some pictures up when I find my cam. Lol
