I was sure that a low powered 589nm wouldn´t make me happy. I just came back from a 5 days trip and the first thing I did is to look after the 589nm and test it on my LPM. I read 75mW from a cold start with a 87mW peak and no value under 72mW over 70seconds :beer:

I was browsing CNI's website and I noticed the higher powered handheld 589's do not come in that slim casing you have. Did you buy just the internals and put them in a slim pointer casing?

No it was a custom built provided by CNI. Also the deactivated safety features I wanted aren´t common.

I got a CNI yellow in a GB. Rated .5 mW... It's more than that but what a NICE color! Almost GOLD. It better be for what these cost!!!

Sent it back because I wasn´t totally happy with the output. There was a little wing around the dot, only noticable when looking at the dot from less than 3 feet. I saved up for a new laser which I also get with the 589nm to save me shipping cost. I´m gonna get the two lasers next week FOR SURE.
