Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

And here I was expecting it to be cheap

I guess price per square mm it's a great deal.

Would like to see it in action, I wonder why they need such a large bounce mirror for holographs.

It would make a KILLER planetary telescope! 1 grand is good for that E.S mirror lol

That lot of 3 looks like a lot of 3 155A's or similar. Your basic 0.5-1mW 632.8. With repairs, you can get some decent stable lasers. At that price, they're great. However, they're also old. Tubes could also not light while the psu works fine.

As far as that other HeNe in the strange contraption, I'm buying that if it stays low. Mostly because I want to look at the optics end up close, and I expect a REO tube to be in the housing. REO is to me as Nichia is to wavelenth hunters. ;)

[DOUBLE POST]

Go nuts. Just got my own for $25 shipped. Waiting on snail mail now. Probably get what you pay for, but for a cheap PJ doodad that I will just leave on as ambient entertainment as I work or research, it's not bad.

150mW RGY. $25 shipped, 14mins left.

Hi LPF,

I found THIS thermal adhesive, conducts heat excellently and works great in high heat. I use this on the bit of my soldering iron to put in perspective how much heat this adhesive can handle. It cost $1.29 with free shipping, what do you have to lose? :)

Yep. I have several tubes of those. It does harden but not like epoxy. The bond is pretty hard but you can pry it off with a screwdriver. It also conducts heat well.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Yeah it almost hardens like silicone, not hard but it still bonds two objects well.
