They're nice units, I picked up two older systems (both low power/no output) but it ended up that the Nd:YVO4 was either damaged/completely separated from the HR mirror so I was unable to repair them. Had hoped it was a pump/alignment issue.

It's certainly one of the failure modes, I imagine pump failure is the most common though, followed by crystal failure then misalignment. They may have made changes to reduce crystal failure in newer models, I only have experience with some older models (I think mine are 2006 or earlier).

Only three hours remain on this ebay listing. If you are into Infrared and *UV through 532 nm (*I believe reduced OD for some UV and some vis), for the money, especially if you have them shipped economy (one of the choices you can make at checkout before payment ) a great deal for what I believe probably cost more than three hundred some dollars new and these are in new condition.

Wow, that seller is acting like he doesn't know what he is selling for that price. Yet the specs are there. That's a bargain.

It's a 593.5nm not 693.5nm. He's made a typo. I checked the laser sticker as well.

I finally saw, my iphone makes it more difficult to see. New for 50!mw is 1300.

Definitely a good deal then. I’ll have to put the <505 on hold for the time being if I go for it. I have asked the seller whether or not the power supply will take 240v 50hz. Also want to know what connector it has, for example an iec socket. If so, there’s no reason why I can’t power it here.

Sorry, I already bought it. You shouldn't have listed it here, I couldn't help myself. (psst. just kidding). I'd like to, but truth is I have already spent too much on other stuff and wouldn't stiff a member who posts a find here anyway.

That 593.5nm is a very good price! Somebody better stick a bid on it so the seller can't revise the typo in his listing. :D Wish I had the spending cash!

Only risk, if using PPal, I see is if the output is low. I suppose one could return it under not as advertised if under 50 mw, the no return statement won't hold for that.

It was a great find by Alex. I'm waiting for a response and then I'll make the decision. :p
