My 473nm+spectrometer unit should be delivered tomorrow. An interesting note note on that is that they misspelled my address as "debbi court" instead of "Debbie court". Thankfully ups has delivered enough stuff to me to have my info on file and corrected it automatically. Will tear it down when it arrives and will make a thread if I make any worthwhile progress on it.

I have one coming that should arrive tomorrow too. I am doing this for the spectrometer, though. Might take some time to get the baffles removed and most likely have to realign the whole thing before calibration. It will be a project. Once I have it to the point where it looks like everything is going to work, I'll post what I have found and give links to important procedures. Keep your fingers crossed.

Mine is being drop shipped to me by another member who asked me to get the spectrometer working. I guess I get to keep everything else, so maybe a laser somewhere in the future. Will have to see after the other work is done.

I'd be more interested in the spectro than the 473 if I'm honest, I have no need for a fiber coupled 473nm source that I can think of and I'm not sure it's worth the effort adding a telescope on the end to collimate the output...

May pick one up anyway... Waiting for payment for some work I did a couple of weeks ago, that'd cover it.

I'd hurry as my understanding is they are getting snatched up pretty quickly. Don't know how many may be left, but it can't be more than a couple.

It would appear that there are 8 non functional left and either 5 or 10 functional left. Depends on whether the listing for the 5xunits is the same 5 as the individual units are. That is out of an original 12 working and 9 parts only units.

Went ahead and ordered one of the functioning units.

May pick up one of the non-functioning units next month too... Those heads make good hosts at worst and repairs may be simple at best.

Yes, those look lovely, appears to have two crystals, one for 532 the other for THG UV, what do you think?

Edit: Diachi, i agree with what you wrote about those 473 nm units making good hosts, bought another lot of 5, but having those sent home. I bought them because I know some members will want them later, but it may be a lonnnng time until I get to them.

Good for you both, diachi and Alaskan. I will be working to try to get the spectrometers out of these units working as a VIS spectrometer with a 1nm resolution. With the free software, it could be a very cheap way to acquire one.

I see that, will be for 532nm and 355nm most likely I'd imagine.

I may need to take you up on that in future if you don't use them yourself, they're a good base for DPSS builds. Although I've got a couple dead 1W 532 Melles units that'd be better yet.
