OK, so if you replaced the tube in your desktop cutter and clamped the tube down in the little strap holders, then these screws in the metal head could let the user align the beam Left, Right, Up, Down so that it aligns in their machine.

That is the OC mirror is still parallel with the rear mirror and these screws don't adjust the OC In, or Out, nor are they meant to adjust the tilt or parallel alignment with the rear mirror, they just set the beam exit in the OC's center for alignment purposes so the beam strikes the machines internal mirrors as the old tube did.

I think I would rather have a tube that has been factory aligned and centered, not that these aren't, but as I don't want to move the OC at all, there is no benefit in my paying extra for this feature, thanks for the info gentlemen. :beer:

Looks like China has a couple competitors, let's see these get down to what they should be, if you can get an NUBM06 with the good GBall you can put on a 3X BE from sanwu and it will work really well with the GBall intact.

If you adjusted the OC the laser would stop lasing...

Hi, the four screws are used to adjust the laser path and spot size when manufacuring. Most time you do not need to adjust it. We set it as best performance before shipping.

That was my gut feeling as well Alaskan, better to not adjust it, I just wanted to see what anyone might know in case there was an advantage of some sort.

Also be careful to read about the beam specs before buying.

I don't think this is an expander, just a 532nm laser pointer of unknown power with a focusing lens on the output. For the price, I wouldn't get one.

I like the looks of it but no power specs turns me away. Maybe if the price were 39.95 I'd take a chance.
