Osram PL450 450nm 80mW power chart

Here is the one I PM'ed you with.

I saw that. Please check your PM over there --->

Actually, give me a minute and check your PM here too.

Looks like a good output of this diode. The dot is not a bar like the 445nm diode.
When focus it looks nice roundish.

It's a bar ... I killed 2 outa 3 aint bad...

there tiny lilfkrs I ran mine on all 4 lenses and it it still a bar unfocused...
it is still a smaller beam but the beam is more like a fine ribbon you can turn...

Yea. Now that I have some modules and have had a chance to see this beam in action I am truley amazed. It is awesome. Blows 445 out of the water for beam quality and is a little lighter blue. I really like them.:D

These really are my all time favorite diode. The color is absolutely beautiful.
I'll choose the pl450 over a >1W 445 any day of the week...

I do have to agree.. It is my favorite! The NM must trigger an emotional response.. It is awesome.

"An emotional response" would go a long way toward explaining my obsession.

Yea sure.

Should I make a reservation for a dark room for both for you ? :D

:tsk: I think you might be reading more into this than is really there.

So are these actual 450nm? Do they tend to run high/low? Has there been any noted shift with wavelength with high and low current/temps?

Yes bloom, these are designed for 450 nm and not 445 nm. Not much a wavelength difference, but it's definitely there.

As far as actual wavelengths and whatnot, I haven't any clue. xD

Measuring the wavelength is kinda hard without proper equipment. I know only rhd and Cyparagon have the tools.
