Hey there everyone. I realize this is a bit odd and not typically done, but I figure, why the hell not?

Anyway, I am looking for a diode capable of pushing 2.2-2.5W w/ a G2 at 1.7-1.8A. I realize this a big request, that's why I will take offers on what you have to sell me. I need this diode for a build that a local commissioned me for (he has safety goggles, has been a long-time customer of mine, and is/was in the military :P ).

That said, I don't want to have to buy 6-7 diodes and then pawn off the rest of the ones that aren't as efficient. So, if anyone has any "spare" efficient diodes, let me know, I'll gladly take one off your hands.
 





I'm guessing people want to keep their cherry picked diodes?

Do you mind a lightly used diode? ~10min total run time @ 1.6A

Mine will hit 2.3/2.4W @ 1.8A

Well for that high current you may want to look at the 9mm 445nm diodes, they cost a bit more but should be able to handle those higher currents longer, but might be best to wait till the end of this week for testing to be done.
 
I actually grabbed one of those from DTR. I was planning on waiting, but if I can save that for a personal build, it would be better for me to buy a standard M140.
 
Ugh, I'm really struggling to decide if I should sell this diode... I have a couple of builds to build for my customers around this output, though I bought their binned diodes already, I might not get another chance of grabbing a diode this efficient again.

I think it's better if I just keep with it for now. I'm so sorry for dangling the carrot infront of you, i really didn't mean to =/
 
I guess an appropriate question might be how much are you looking to spend on this diode?
 
Probably somewhere between standard price (>$50) upwards to about $90-$100, I suppose.
