O-like with cheap 400mW greenies?






Ah, thanks Prototype for finding a pic.

B-Mounts also go up to 2.5W, meaning that 300mW output is possible with a good crystal set. Pushing 25% efficiency 500mW is also possible, but highly unlikely from a poorly-designed cheap Chinese laser.

So more likely than not this uses a B-Mount or 9mm pump diode. Personally, I've never seen any greens which use a 9mm as the pump, it's generally C-Mount or 5.6mm open can.

Who knows, this might be the start of something special :D

We'll have to see when these lasers get here, we won't know till then.

The website has raised the price and now shows that never ordered anything.:scowl: What is going on? It did this a few days ago then went back to normal but this is weird. Did I get ripped off? :(
 
Wow, I see that to now. Before it was advertised for 400mw for (I think) $194.99. And now it's advertised at 300mw for $249.99. I don't know about you guys but I was really exited for this. I was even ready to sell my iPod so I could afford to buy this laser :(

It does seem to indicate a 300 mW unit but they might be over spec. I'll graph it and see if can hold power for a while!!! I noted to Susie that I would review........

Ok so they changed the price and name of the 300mW back to the 400mW $196.99 but the stats on the bottom of the page say 250mW-300mW. They still have the same item up but for $399.00. My account still shows that have never bought anything from them even though i spent over $200. I hope they fix this
 
Check if the money is missing from your account, if so you better contact them quickly.
They have had some computer trouble lately and this could be an honest mistake.
 
Now at 1:00AM monday morning :tired:the site says:
$196 400mW laser ir filtered- but the specs say 250-300mW :wtf:
then:
$399 400mW laser ir filtered- 350-400mW
and what happened to the cute little pocket 200mW red :mad:
The site has changed every time I've looked at it over the last week.
I don't know what to belive now :knight:. Think I better hang on to my money for a while:scared:
till things settle down and some of them are tested by trusted LPF members.:whistle:
