What the hell was he doing in hospital bed , then?

If anybody could master the universe secrets, learn to draw power from higher energy bands or sometihng, I don't think they would brag about it.

I have an uncle who used to believe the small, fuel efficient Japanese car he bought back in the 80's got over 100 mpg. No one ever told him that his coworkers were messing with him and adding a half gallon of gas to his car every day. It would be funny if this were somehow the same kind of situation, but I dont think it would be possible to feed a person without them being aware and have it go on for 70 years.

I am powered by alcohol and caffeine and haven't eaten anything not soaked in oil in over 5 years!

Also, I wish someone would add gas to my car as a joke, they usually take it out as a "joke"

As I said, once your awareness level reaches such a level , you are not dumb enough to brag about your abilities.

Well, he'd be green then too, right?

Kidding aside: there is a good reason animals have never developed photosynthesis, even if it were biologically feasible. You'd need a huge area to power yourself. For a human, think 10 square meters of light collecting area to sustain basic metabolism. Obviously you wouldn't be going anywhere if you were that large, which is a problem, since you'd still need water.
