what do you mean interference from the fans.I think i will put 2 in.One blowing in one out.
 
Some fans give of electric interference which messes with the signal to the galvos giving you a bad scan pattern.

I think if you use brushless fans this doesn't happen . Though I could be wrong.

i'd probably fall off my chair if i saw someone using brushmotor cooling fans in a lasershow projector :P
