Wow you got a hot diode too!

I sure hope my two that I just got from jake21 are also hot like that...

I killed my first one from Senkat at 280mA's. So I personally would be happy to try my next one at 220mA's to see how long it last there. With numbers like your getting, you will have some serious power at 220mA's! 8-)

Do you think that this is a safe place to hold it at for my projector-running for at least 4 hours with good cooling?
 
4 hours? Boy, I don't know about that...

Are you using TEC cooling?

Sounds like you should turn it down to like 150mA's, but I am only taking a wild guess here. Please keep us posted with your results...

4 hours is nothing  ;D  I have a PHR at ~160ma 130ma in another projector with similar host and only a fan blowing directly on the host..I run it for AT LEAST 8 hours at a time (shows ~8pm-5am) and I am on my 6th show now :) and going strong.o-ya...no TEC either

I may turn it down a little but not lower than 180ma probably  ;)
 
That's good to know stuff like that...

Please keep track of how many hours it lasts at what ever current you have it set at and let us know!

My SF-AW is running great at the 200mA setting. Play around with it quite a bit............

That thing is weirdo I believe it is lower in the wavelength department but, I will reserve those statements for the acutual results.

I will say about 20 min on it all cycled duty. :)
