So far I've only done a quick test and only hit 7 watts at 4.5 anps. I'll do a proper run and show my results.

What was the divergence like, was it worse with the larger emitter?:beer:

I haven't had a chance yet to see how the divergence is. I'll have it fully tested like the way DTR does later today. Even if this diode doesn't turn out to be more powerful than the 44 and just has less divergence that wouldn't be a bad thing.

Depends on the diode price. Because it sounds like the 06 is in the same ballpark too.
