ahh thats the only way i guess... problem is I dont have the diodes yet. I guess I can waste a few hours doing some tests. back to a breadboard then I guess. Havent made a LM317 driver on a breadboard since my first dive into lasers.

now to go out and buy another DMM...

Keep in mind that chart is raw diode output. Your going to have losses with lenses.

Yea, I made a new prototype heatsink design for my hosts today. Riding home, I thought, id love to put a diode in this, but im waiting for glenns shipment. Low and behold, it was in the mailbox when I got home. :)

ohh that makes me think...have you shipped my order yet glenn? im like 6 hours away from you. It should only take 1 day...
