New 12X Laser Sled GB (BDR-S06J) $45 in USA!

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

hey glenn, are you gonna send me the lpc's along with the other stuff from our deal? I wasnt aware you had them in already!

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

LED:banghead: Best I can figure it was the extra couple /10ths of seconds with the iron because all I had was 20g wire and patience is not one of my virtues. That and I thought I would "protect" this diode by actually using a cap and it needed to fit in the HS so I soldered it about 5mm down from the LD, heat probably ran right up the wire.:cryyy: I tortured a phr the other day and it was fine, I don't get it? Bought a new electric 40w soldering iron (currently mine's butane and tempermental)and hit up Flaminpyro for some wire.

Glenn: Please put me down for 2 more bdr-s06j's, I can pay you in a week

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

My LOC's have arrived.
Nice packaging Glenn.

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

Hey glen, how much for a SO6J with the diode extracted? I would like the sled also.

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

I can do for $44 shipped in USA and let me know if you want the diode in the h.s. or fully extracted pal! (also, it will be in about a week or so, when the new sleds arrive here...) ;)

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

wow im wondering why no one wants in on any of these. well i'll be the first to reserve 2 lpc-826, 1 a140 445, and 1 bdr-s06j.

what are you referring to when you say "possibly 445 diodes for 46 ea." are these not the 445 A140's you are selling for 40 at the end of the thread?
OK didn't know for sure, but I am still selling the A140 445 diodes for $40 ea. so far...
Always glad to get a PM if you find I missed something or didn't update the "Paid" list, my friends! Thanks! ;) -Glenn

hey glenn, i pm'ed you so you know you got goodies coming. sorry for the wait pal!

You got any word on the lpc-826's though?

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

:paypal: yesterday for more bdr-s06j's. Looking forward to a more successful build/s this time

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

LPC's, (and other sleds), s/b here in just a very few days... ;) -Glenn

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

OK all, I got the package today :) Only unexpected thing was, I didn't get sleds for the LPC-826's those are long lead fresh OEM diodes so, these are not heated, not in sleds and those leads are longer than you would ever need. (They are very easy to shorten if needed too!) ;) As usual, I'll send them out right away. I may have a spare BDR-S06J or LPC-815, but only a very few were not already taken, Thanks Friends! -Glenn

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

hey glenn buddy...
you got an extra lpc-826 you wanna add to my order...thats makes it 3 yea? let me know how much i owe ya.

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

Hey glen, I need 5 bdr s06j, 2 lpc 815, and if you have it a 445. Whats my total? :)

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

ok now anyone has access to photonlexicon that can copy that graph they have showing output power and forward voltage and such of the lpc-826's/?? I've searched and searched but nope...no info on the forward voltage of an 826 at given currents. Its necessary so i can choose battery config and drivers. Im hoping to drive it with a boost driver and a 3V 14500 LiPo cell... but the driver I have in mind will direct drive in input V is more than output V. big problem...even .2 V will be crucial. The batteries in question will charge up and stay at 3.2V MAX maybe 3.26 or so. any links or info would be helpful thanks!!

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

Make an adjustable LM317 style driver and grab two DMMs.
One set at 10 AMPS in series between driver and batterie, on in 20 Volts on the driver
output or the diodes pins. Take notes, make graph, collect rep.

I bet they are not different in Vf from the LPC-815 (2.8~3.5V).
