New 12X Laser Sled GB (BDR-S06J) $45 in USA!

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

I'm not sure why the surprise. The only benefit glass has over acrylic is that glass won't melt. My tests have shown the AR coated acrylics offer between 6% and 8% increase at 650nm over the uncoated acrylics that come with the aixiz modules. They even do slightly better than the glass aixiz 3 element lenses as well. However being acrylic, they aren't suited for class 4 types of power assuming we ever get reds at decent prices with decent beam specs at those power levels.

As far as what lenses DX lasers come with. I wouldn't know. I'm in the US. I can't get DX lasers even if I did want them.

@ qumefox

Im in the US as well, the modules i ordered are 5mW lasers. I just got them to gut them and use the modules. but to my suprise i got AR lens as well. they have those in stock at all times AFAIK. If you are gonna start selling AR acrylics for red then of course i'd order from you instead :D

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

Does anyone know the pinout for the LPC826? Also does anyone have the datasheet for it?

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

I'm in for one BDR-S06J as well as a two LPC-826s.

U can put me on the reserves for 2 826's and a bdr glenn

OK, got you good folks on the list... Thanks! -GH

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

I am fairly sure, these sleds will push up our output on red lasers, and this is important to me, as I would like to balance the green and blue in a white fusion. Surely there are others who also need a single red diode with good beam specs and a bit more output... -Glenn

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

Is there any testing feedback yet that suggests these can exceed the 350mW or so upper limit of a LOC ?

Agreed. :pop: for mine to come in and see what they do. Could I have a quote for a bdr ,and do you still have those glasses for $11, after PP and shipped to 55330 so I know what I need to scrounge up please?:thanks:

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

I've gotten 330mW after optics out of a LOC running at around 500mA but it could just be a freak diode. I haven't done any more red builds yet since that one to try again.

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

Gentlemen at those currents I wouldn't expect the diodes to live a long and happy life.

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

My 330mW build has about 30 hours on it now and is still going strong.

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

That's great qumefox, I wonder if it could be pushed higher with a pulsed driver and a super h.s.? ;) -GH

Re: New Fast Sled GB (inc. LPC-826)

well IIRC the mitsubishi LOC's said it was capable of 400mW pulsed on the datasheet, and 200mW CW. so yea i think its totally possible to exceed 400mW if pulsed on a conservative duty cycle. especially through a high output lens.
