Neocube @ Alibaba

I'd like to know if there is much of a difference in the quality.
5mm is pretty small. The 3/16th ones are running between $45 and $75 for 216 (6X6X6 cube) depending if they are n42 or n45.
Might be too strong to play with at this size though.
Gotta love constructive magnetic interference ;)

I believe there won't be any difference at all. If anything it will be low tolerances for the spheres' diameter.

Wondering about a mega neocube (it requires 8 of them, but can be a discrete puzzle :p :D)

First vid of my Neocube magnets next to their daddy

Niko, I believe chinese manufacturers can ship to USA for "free" because the chinese government pays for it, or there is some kind of incentive for shipping to USA....something, i just can't recall.

These are so cool and great for a Christmas gift for a friend or ME.:na:

Also the Price is very good. They are powerful little suckers. They also look like there is endless fun with them. I am going to pick some up in a couple weeks when i get paid. Ill pick up 2 sets for 216.

Thanks for posting this.

Hey DJNY,

How did you do that Attached Files.? I always wanted to know but could never figure it out.:(

Never thought of that, Moh. But it could be the reason they ship to the US for free indeed.

@DJNY: LOL MAN that magnet is HUGE. Where did you get it? (And how much did it hurt :p?).

I thought about this as well. Maybe when I got US$70.00 to spare :p

How does neo cube stack up against similar products? I.E. Bucky Balls; zen magnets; or the onses that are sold by Buy In Coins?

I ordered 2 a while back, then I saw some videos....I think I need 6 more sets

Well, I've gotten a cheap one from ebay in the past, and I'll just say that the item is a lot of fun at first (it gets a little boring after a while, but that may depend on the person), and that the magnets are plenty strong. It is a little difficult at first to get the item into a cube shape since they are such strong magnets. I find the technique of making six - six by six layers and then stacking them the best way, but it is difficult because they are such strong magnets, they don't always line up correctly, and you do have to make sure that when you are putting on the next layer, that you are putting the correct side of each magnet on correctly (remember, that although they are spheres, they are not monopoles, they still have a north and south just like any other magnet). Lastly, because they are strong magnets, it is sometimes hard to make each layer themselves due to fringe effects.

Just got mine from Niko´s link above. Same performance as the $30 Amazon-Neodym-Cube!
