Part (most) of me wants that 612. Another part of me feels real bad about hoarding the only known 612s this side of nowhere, and I kind of want to give someone else the opportunity.
That said, if nobody wants the opportunity, please let me know.

Dave--- I will take it if nobody does (very) soon.
Cheech - How serious are you about it? You appear to be a man who respects the spectrum.

I'd like to see it go to a good home (if not me) too. Trevor, or RHD, or Cheech, or someone who can love and cherish that baby for what it is.

If that person is not you, then, that person is me.
But I'd feel like a real ass not giving someone else a chance on it first.

Good man :) I'd buy all 4 if I had the dough. I REALLY hope those go to a good home, they deserve it for pumping out such quality photons :) Also, nice Kryton :)

i'd like to have it. but unless $500 falls from the sky i can't do it for a month or so.

Heh, does my tunable count as a second? :) You can turn a knob and make it into a 612 for the time being. :)

Is that the second 612 you have in your sig? (there's 2 612's in your sig) How much do tunables generally run for?

I know Thorlabs has them for like $20K+ However they're mostly operating in the IR range, so I didn't know if that made a difference. Looks like that collection piece is shot. Although makes me wonder how in the H-E-double hockey sticks Aryntha got one.

I run the tunable for an hour a month, sometimes more; I actually have its run-in scheduled into my Outlook calendar for the forseeable future.

And yeah it's the second 612 in my sig... It does 633, 612, 604, 594 and 543.

The real bummer about the tunable (besides its cost) is that it's a soft seal tube. However, it's 1989 dated, so I'm hoping that if it's still working now after 23 years, it'll continue to.

I try to run my JDSU Cylindrical ArIons too, but, to be completely honest -- with the JDSUs, you can cheat on that a bit. ...

Still nobody wanting this 612? I'm about to feel like "well, everyone had a chance..."

Cheech let me know what comes of that, and if you are/arent arranging something with it?
 
One of you all take it please. ;)

It's driving me crazy not being able to grab it myself. I wont have the money for quite some time.
