Turns out I killed the driver and the diode while trying to re-solder and clean things up a bit... $60 mistake right there. I've already ordered the replacements using the money I was saving for a LPM.

I'm not going to try to sell anything again for at least a few months so I'm 100% sure I know what I'm doing...

Good idea. What ware the duty cycles like with that? I am assuming you have a standard aluminium heat sink.

He could contact him on his Twitter account, Facebook account, Google Circles account, or even call/email his dad. If there are any issues getting a member his money and/or laser I will give all this information I found(when background checking this guy from curiousity) to a mod to do with as they see fit. Alternatively, if it hasn't been 45 days I would suggest zerolaser open a PP dispute immediately.

I was about to say the same thing! Why did he get banned? I mean I knew he had a little bit of a bad rep but he seemed nice enough to me...

Multiple accounts even with positive rep is a No No

Zerolaser should have an active email address for Froyo in the PayPal transaction.
It's pretty tough to manage a PayPal account without one

In any event, this should serve as another reminder.

When doing business with someone, always get contact info outside of the forum
Even if a member does not get banned, we have seen from over at PL right now, servers crash, people delete things by mistake, the interwebz is NOT a secure place

WoW!!! I have to say that this whole I built one laser now I am a laser entrepreneur whoops, never mind I blown it up, thing is getting out of hand. One more thing that suxs here of late is the wheeee!!!! I built a high powered laser and played with it for several hrs. now I need to make my money back.:spank:

Kinda watering the true enthusiast down here.... well pretty soon they will be banned here(USA) anyway.

Yea...I am making as many lasers as I can so when that happens I won't have a hard time getting my photonic phix.
