How is that circumventing when I am asking a question?? How am I supposed to participate and ask questions when the mod just deletes it.

Who do I send a general question to? Just pick someone random? How about helping new people instead of deleting their questions and threatening them.

Just ban me, I'll find help somewhere else. From people that aren't jerks.

And if that pissed off the mod, he needs some anger management classes.

That pissed you off? Why? It wasn't directed toward you, just the jerk that deletes my question. Why would I PM a random person, I don't know anyone on here well enough to just send a random question, isn't the forum for asking questions? or are you supposed to just PM all questions?

That pretty much constitutes a "for sale" post ;)

Let me try this again then without a photo of the items I am looking to sell.

What is the best way to go about selling an item that was purchased through the forum without making useless posts on random topics? I don't have enough knowledge of lasers to contribute and I do most of my reading to gain knowledge. I don't collect lasers as a hobby and only used these to perform a working function that is complete.

If this kind of question is deemed to be "circumventing the minimum posts" then feel free to delete it again.

Ask your "question" in the appropriate color board.
IIRC, this is 445nm laser

If all you are looking for is help with selling it because you cannot post in the B/S/T board, try asking in the general board for a veteran to help you by acting as a middleman

A lot can happen, in a very short time, to a laser ;)

How long is the average wait for approved for sale posts? I put one up a few hours ago and haven't received any confirmation on it yet.

Depends on how many mods are sleeping :p Sometimes it takes a few minutes, sometimes up to 12 hours.

If your Thread has not been approved within 24 hours you can
contact a Moderator to have it approved.
It may have slipped between the cracks...
Be patient... this is an international Forum and not 911 with an
operator standing by...;)

Just realized that I tried to start a FS thread, and I definitely don't have 20 posts on this forum yet.

Truth be told, I only came here to purchase my laser. (Now selling that same one.)
Hopefully it will be approved anyway?

This is a Laser related Forum... Not the Classified Ads
in the local newspaper. Rules have been implemented
for a reason...

Just post/share about your Laser related knowledge
and/or experiences or help out another member.
The post count really goes up fast when you participate.:beer:
