Mid-west blizzard

It is mother nature's way of telling Obama something about his constant use of Airforce 1 !!!!!

Here in North Iowa, We have had two+ days of snow again. 13" of snow plus winds pushing it where we don't need it. This is the worst global warming event in over 20 years --there's no place left to put it. I'm hoping my roof doesn't cave in.

HMike

Imagine the years to come, :scared:

I think it is also nature's way of making even more of a fool out of Al Gore! BTW it is snowing heavily here right now and there's a huge (like three feet long) icicle hanging off the roof on my back porch and it's a very tempting target for some of my lasers!

Yeah, that's where I am. We just got 24" a couple days ago, and now the second storm is coming through with another 13"...

Maryland FTW!

Not quite so bad, I took these out my back door.

Thanks. It's funny but a few members here think I live in N.Y. City??

It takes almost 5 hours to get to NYC from here, and I like it that way.

My old barn is caving in, going to try and salvage some of the wood this summer.

Been looking at that barn on and off since 1973, going to miss it.

On the plus side, my taxes will lower by a few hundred a year with it gone.

I wish it was that bad here in Lubbock. Snow started over-night. It's up to about two inches, and we still had to walk to school.
What sucked today was i tripped over a small ledge that was covered with snow. I recovered, and went to class. I reached into my pocket, I got the biggest shock. My 12x laser was missing. I thought it must have fallen while i tripped earlier that morning. I ran out of class to see if it was still there where I had almost fallen.
There it was, in the middle of the sidewalk covered with melted snow and other students walking around it.
Dried it of, and it still burns.

Why would you bring something like that to school?

PROB FOR THE SAME REASON YOU SHINE YOUR LASER AT THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING, STUPIDITY

Is your caps lock stuck, or is stupidity preventing you from turning it off?

Also, I obviously did that during early AM hours when no one could have been in there. You've never pointed a laser at something off in the distance before?

That's like asking why I even have a laser. It's not like I go around shining it at people.

No, it's not like asking why you even have one. If someone brought a gun to school, and someone asked them why, would your reply be "that's like asking why do I own a gun?"? What if someone would have found your laser in the snow, and started pointing it in people's eyes at school? Then what? :spank:

wow, way to compare the laser to a weapon. I guess I must need a licence for being in the possesion of a laser. Nobody bothered to get it, and I retrieved it as soon as I found it missing. I'm not trying to attck you, since it seems you're getting ganged up by two people now.

FYI, a laser can be used as a weapon. Don't worry about me, I can handle myself.

And technically, you do need a license to operate such a high powered laser.

If you want to be that technical, what not any object, like a hard book. Because the first thing everyone thinks when they use a Small flashlight looking laser is: "weapon"
