I am in Xmas mood, we need more red light. :san:
I give two 5mW 635nm laserdiodes away for FREE !! I even pay shipping worldwide.
They are both from Modwerx. One is not used and the other comes already pressed in an Axiz module. The module is also free !

All you have to do is leave a reply to this thread and I will randomly picked 2 different member from the reply pool at 24:00 hour 26 december 2010.
The lucky ones will receive the diodes soon.

Merry Christmas and happy lottery.

thanx in advance friend, count me in. merry christmas...:)

The lottery has ended !

My local time says 24:00 26 december 2010. It is time to draw the winners. I have counted 66 different participants. Each participant is ranked by the message number. Anselm gets number 1, drummerdimitri gets number 2 and so on. Tech_Junkie gets also a number. :)

From this pool the first on the random list will get de new 635nm diode and the second on the same list gets other diode. All free of charge and shipping included. The list will be determined by this Random Sequence Generator. I will post the list soon after this message. You have to trust me for this :D

Thank you for participating the lottery.
Merry Christmas everybody. :san:

Was it a pseudo-random or "true" random generator? I'm guessing it's "true" random. :)

From the site:
The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs.
So that is about as true random as you can have. ;)
Maybe a geiger-counter would be just as true random.
