I got lucky and everything fit nicely.
Side clicky 2 18650 "LOTUS" flashlight.
Heatsink cut to fit by Lifetime17 and pill wired up.
Blackbuck 8a driver
1 turn 10k pot.
NUGM01T in a shorty module with stock lens.

Some more pics

1.46w on my Hyperion LPM. Current set to 2.3a.

The dot pics are as low power as I could get it to go down to. Definitely has the g2 shadow noise and some other splashy areas.

I have a decanned NUGM01T that has lost power over time. Its still above 800mw but it definitely isn't as powerful as new. Its makes a nice beam out of the 2 element lens and works very well with a 3x BE.
This setup with the stock lens is definitely a compromise. I'm hoping I get much more life from the diode. The catch is the beam specs. I also tried it with a 3x BE and maybe it was better. Out of the gball the beam is good to about 25' the convergence zone is about 8' out. The way both axis converge then diverge about 4' from each other is unique. It never gets needle thin that I could see. Still pretty nice.

BEAM SHOTS

Nice, always like builds with power adjustments on them, make them real multipurpose. 1.46 watts, that's definitely a whole lot of 520. :gj: nice heatsink should give some decent run time. Enjoy that guy.

Nice buddy,

Yeah some more at full power would be great, very nice build!
Yup no problem. Ill need to make a beam dump that kills the glare. EDIT: Done beamshots for all.

Thanks BobMc. They are my favorite driver to build with.

dden, curious, how much time has passed when you first started to noticed the diode started to lose power? Good looking beams shots through. Thanks

Less than a year since I bought it. I'll have to LPM it with a G2 later to compare to Jordan's page. I'm assuming he set my driver to 1.8a.

Ok thanks, let us know what the LPM says. Thinking of making an 01t build myself. Thinking if keeping the g-ball on ?

Beautiful host, love the adj. pot., that heatsink is ***Y, and over 1 Watt of forest green is definitely the icing on the cake man, good job!

Thanks for the kind comments fellas.

Go for it, the beam is clean for about 20'. And a heads up, don't just go on Jordan's site and order the module. Get in touch with him and let him know. These diodes are a pia due to the leftover junk from the block removal. You need it centered or the can will be tilted slightly taking up the room you'll need for the G2 barrel on one side. This happened to me.
I have 1 more Blackbuck 8a left. I may build another NDG7475.
