I am not questioning your age, I am questioning that that crystal is actually LBO. It is easy to write "17" on that, Coherent does it.

Oh, yeah, since you mentioned it, there have been a couple times you have acted like a 12 year old. Do I need to link to the "Pulsed Driver" thread?

Honestly, answer my questions, prove me wrong. If what you claim is true, you should be able to answe all of them.

and what I am using them for is for the emission's system for my car project that is not for the web yet. and the emission system will work in Clean Coal technology as well.
and NO I did not sign anything but the Check and the delivery from UPS. I don't know why I am even telling you this If you are not going to buy it I dont have anything to prove to you.
and as far as the pulse driver post I apologized to Krutz which is more then I can say about you.

What's your car emission/clean coal project about? What are you removing from the exhaust gas stream with a laser?
 
pullbangdead you should check out the MMD finding post at LEF
out of a 6X without a lens and only a small amount of the laser wave on the Laserbee censer I hit 330+ mW before the diode died that is why I am selling the LBO so cheep so I can fry more Diodes
 
Not to seem rude to any one poster, I really don't understand why there is a constant need to badger this member. Frosty is an straight up poster he deserves better than this he was even trying to keep this thread clean by going to the PM's.

I know that Ben and Pull are laser Gods in their own right soooo... lets get to the next level if not for the health of the forum just for respects sake. Only after this can we get discussion to flow in a positive manner.

anyone furthering the experimentation on new diodes need some support... they are a dying breed.
 
I think since Frosty has posted contact info for Coherent including the company representative he is working with, it would be inappropriate to continue accusing him of dishonesty until this is verified.. Ben.. you never know, he could be 100% correct about these crystals and where they came from.

And a few facts about these Crystals from Coherent
These are not AR coated so they can except any IR
they are SHG 1 so they can except 554nm to 2600nm
808nm = 404nm and 946nm = 473nm and 980nm = 490nm and 1064nm = 532nm
808nm the tuning angle is 1Deg
1064nm the tuning angle is 4Deg
they said its best to make it adjustable to fine tune it in.
the higher power in the more power out / the better quality beam the more power out. Q switching is best But it will work with multi emitter diodes. just not as efficient.
20Watt you should be able to get 5watts out
the crystal should be 60 deg (C/F not sure which one he was referring to) for max efficiency, 3 watt diode will heat the crystal just fine
The smaller the beam at the crystal the better

Not taking any sides here... I don't know squat about LBO crystals...

But IMO... he already has... (proven they are LBO crystals according to Coherent)

All anyone needs to do is contact the person at Coherent that he
supplied info about to see who is slinging the crap... rather than speculate..:cool:
