I've contacted all the major 'laser repair' shops for a quote to fix my 4240PS supply but no one has gotten back to me yet :-[

haha rarely do you see a duct tape host!

there were boat loads of liconix hecds made so you might just want to keep your eyes out for another PS. I dont know where anyone of those thigs are. You seem to find goodies, keep your eyes peeled.

They are always peeled, but it seems like the moment you really need something, there are none around. When I wasn't looking for one, there were 4240's all over on ebay. Now there isn't a single one! :'(
