I don't understand, "UV shift",? Is that where 1,000,000 K sits?

UV shift is not about the laser, you see when you heat up the object, let's say a metal rod ,eventually it'll turn red hot.

Prior to that, it's emitting insane amouns of IR.

More heating, red light plus IR.

More heating, Orange light + red light + IR.

Eventually it'll get to "White hot" light.

However, at that point it'll emit less IR than at the start. Graph is difficult to explain on words - I'll try to find it after this post.

Theoretically if you supply enough heat the object will emit UV light with no visible light - Imagine a graph that looks like a hill and it's increasin in size and moving to left and getting thinner by each degree kelvin added.

I believe that most objects by 5000 °K or so emit white light, though I'mma run to wiki to check that.

5,600K is commonly used for flash lamps in photography studios so you're about right that 5,000K is white.

Oh damn, I was not right about UV shift and "won't be able to see it" part..

Peak of the graph goes up and left but IR part slowly goes up anyhow, not "less than before" fasion...

(I have had an chief engineer freak out because I used a 13,6 pound bottle of refrigerant for dust cleaning, it helped that I showed him the chemical description of the gas in a compressed air horn. )

These plans as stated a few posts back are from a company called information unlimited / amazing1.com. The ebay seller is either amazing1.com themselves, or this person is an affiliate. Contacting amazing1 would clear that up.

I ordered my first catalog from amazing1 in 94 or 95, they are the original DIY site, with pages visible back to 1996 via the net. They are not some half-arsed kipkay related site.

Thanks for the offer, but i made my own dehydrated water at home, when i need it.

Here is 100ml of pure dehydrated tap water (took off all the H2 and the O from it) ..... for have it back at the natural state, just need to add 100ml of pure distilled water.
