Laser guided bullet

Yea somehow though I don't think they are going to sell them to the General Public

Looks cool, but I think it'll cost more than your lunch money to plink off a box for target practice;)

There goes the fine art of sniping and our need for snipers.

That's actually quite sad, I admired the art and its soldiers.

Those "bullets" don't seem from guns, for me ..... cannon ? ..... anti-tank ? ..... they looks too big, anyway, for gun/rifle size .....

The challenge the Sandia team faces is making the tech-stuffed bullet cheap enough for everyday use. When stun gun maker Taser International launched a stun cartridge that can be fired from a shotgun, the resulting round, containing a shock battery and control electronics, cost a cool $150 a piece. "If they are going to fire that at a rioting crowd they may as well throw iPods at them," one arms control expert told New Scientist at the time.
That and I doubt how effective a bullet like that is, will it have the same effect on the target?

Now a bullet with a laser beam coming out of it's nose would look cool.

LOL ..... well, at that rate of miniaturization, how much time we have to wait, before get a bullet with a lasershow projector in the nose ? :p

(so it can project a "SMILE, YOU'RE F*CKED" laser message while is traveling to the target ..... :p :D )

BTW ..... about "taser bullets" (:p) and other tasers ..... you know you can render them totally useless just wearing conductive clothes, right ?

And there's no need to buy "thorshield" on black market :p ..... there are a lot of other conductive fabrics around, like these ones :D ..... just buy some of them and make a suit :p :D
