Yea I'm gonna go with the 800mW 405. I just need to know how long this would take because I'm moving mid-May.

Wish I could give you a good answer but GBs usually are somewhat unpredicable as to the time line. :huh:


I would think that by mid-May the orders would be in the GBers hands- And keep in mind the when shipping a large box from China to Texas there is ALWAYS some outside chance of an issue. So far we have shipped back and forth w/o much problems except for one (non-JETL)laser that was sent to JETL that was partially dis-assembled but otherwise OK.;)

We did need to return(at JETL'S expense) some of the 405/800s and one 445nm due to a need to adjust the focus(up-close was just fine and a hellava burner!) And we now awaiting on word from JETL on them.

Also 800mWs of 405 AND overspec was a little wishful thinking on our parts so JETL MAY be now listing them as 750mWs or 700mWs and overspec(IDK for sure). We in GB#3 were the first to get these 405s so some bumps in the road are to be expected.

I am aiming for the 532nm PL-C 500-600mw or 600-700mw
and a 5 or 10x beam expander, if availably, all depends on finances when the time comes for payment. :)

more info later- i am too pissed off ATM -- I keep accidently hitting a key that eraces all my hard work-- dont know which one it even is. (ps I hate the caplock key too-can it be dis-abled??)

I need to do everything in notepad i guess.

How much would 80mW 589 nm cost? Is It available? I probably will not be able to get it in this one but the next GB, but would like to know the price please?

I don't think there are 589s in this GB are there ?

The CNI GB has them @ roughly $1k

IDT I have ever seen 589nm on at the JETL sites-- however -who knows?

The more succesfull JETL is, the more they can expand thier line-- only 18months ago you could not order any 405s or 445s- and although some fine tuning is being done they are on the menue at JETL and prolly there to stay.

If Matt T. has his way we should see 473nm and other wavelenghts too. He has wanted Gray to offer them since GB#1. The best source of answers to these type of questions is Gray. He checks his PMs here often. Or do it publically in this thread.

Sorry that the 589nm yellow is not available on the GB4 and i'm not much sure if our techs can work on it for the time being.

Speaking of the 405nm, as what we all have is the 10x 405nm sleds and the diode can only output 700mw or so, so the 405nm 750/800mw might be removed from the list and the 405nm 500mw or 600mw will fill the place. I will get more updates later.
Sure the returned 405nm 800mw would be shipped back to each friend soon with the corrected focusing part.

445NM is available in 1w version at the moment and the price remains.

Also sorry that the max power we can work out the 635nm is around 400mw, not 500mw. Several diodes were burnt out, heh..

Regarding the beam expanders, now 3x and 5x are available and we would send the adapter part for the laser pen or the PL-C for free. The 10x is only available in the sample version. We're adding one or two knurling on the surface to make it look not that dull.

So now the current GB pricing is
3x: 130$;
5x: 150$.
10x: 180$(not available for GB4. Might be available in next GB)

Ready to fwd those lasers the day they get here-- thanks to all for waiting and being so understanding. Aside form the regular extras- all the 405 guys get another free charger( comp of Aixiz) --it does 16340s(two) and the next small size.

Whodunit gets an exrtra charger AND a pair of 18650s.


Make sure you search your boxes other hidden goodies.

AFAIK there WILL be a GB#5-- but better jump on #4.

Unless otherwise requested- all PL-Cs will have the circular keys modded to allow removal in both positions. ( less safe- but more user friendly. )

preferred method of payment for lasers/items is a USPS MO-- shipping charges are paid via PP personal-(money owed for service). your box is sent to your confirmed PP addy.

If you want it sent elswhere you need to PM me on that. Past GBers do not need to do this if we have already worked this out.

When tracking (DHL) shows clearing customs plz be ready to pay shipping- all will get pics of thier laser on my LPMs the day they arrive here in TX. at your door (for sig del) 2 to 3 days. Insured and well packed. Canada takes longer--sorry Jedi
